I don't think I've ever been as happy with an all-around tire as the K02s. I probably have another year before I need to replace them, so I'm keeping my eye out for anything new but I wouldn't be upset to just buy the same thing again.
I bought a mid-year '18. I did buy the extended warranty.
I think I had every recall that could possibly apply to my Jeep, and maybe more.
First, almost immediately the auto start/stop wasn't working, faulty clutch switch, but it took 4 times in the dealer before they figured it out. The first...
This is more what I’m taking about.
I’m not saying to bring back and modernize the TJ. I’m saying that the Renegade is going to need a full redesign soon one way or another. Jeep already has plenty of SUVs that are not focused on off road. So a little more Wrangler styling and add a few more...
I think you're talking about almost what I'm talking about. A more basic version. I'm just suggesting that Wrangler is already a great seller and for the sake of keeping those sales, not degrading the content of a wrangler below the current Sport trim. The Sport is pretty much what you're asking...
Yes examples of upsizing abound. Sticking with Honda, the Civic is now much bigger that the Accords of old.
Renegade has not exactly been a pillar of reliability. Neither has the Wrangler for that matter! When the redesign of both comes along, reliability needs to be a major goal. And off-road...
I understand your points but I actually think it could be the market that impedes. There are many small cars meeting crash and emissions regulations now. I’m only really suggesting a more Wranglerish, soft top replacement for the Renegade. Suzuki is hardly even remembered in the car segment in...
I apologize if this has been covered, I searched and couldn't find anything.
I watch a lot of YouTube, TFL, stuff like that. So much high tech on vehicles and such ridiculous pricing. The idea that loaded pickup trucks and off-roaders like Jeep can be at or near $100k is mind boggling. There...
Some other corresponding benefits besides just the interior space:
Subwoofer could be on the side instead of in the cubby.
Gas tank could be bigger.
Maybe they'd raise the maximum tow weight rating.
Plenty of room for a rooftop tent and bigger racks.
And maybe other things from the other wish...
I went with Baja Designs on the Jeep factory light mounts. Very high quality. I had the same thought about the housing being round like the headlights.

At first I made no changes. Then the next time I rotated my tires I raised the brake light. Now I notice the rear wiper arm is contacting the backside of the brake light bracket. Next rotate I'm going to lower it again.
