I brought my 4xe to an area dealership nominally for an oil change and get the codes read. The service advisor told me these engines are filled with break-in oil and so I really should wait for more like 7500miles rather than the 2500 I am currently at...of course this advice may have been related to their online appointment system snafu. They gave me an appointment at 4:30, but all their technicians go home at 4.

Regardless, he was able to read the stored codes for me. Most revolve around the HV System Interlock. My guess would be a bad connection or malfunctioning sensor to me. Note there are both High and Low range warning messages.

The vehicle has been driving normally - with the exception of the auto park repeatedly triggering (see code B25C9 below) while I was slowing to a stop. My Jeep was rolling on 37's at the time and filled with a 37" spare and all the stock tires & wheels.

Also, I suspect the Pedestrian Alert Module failure occured when the tire shop disconnected my spare tire mount in an attempt to place a 37 there...I told them it wouldn't fit, but that message never made it back to the tire tech's.

The service advisor suggested I keep the battery charged up to near full capacity and run it on gas as much as possible. Right...Kind of defeats the purpose of having a plug-in hybrid.

Trouble codes (see image above for descriptions):

ECU Code
PCM B25C9
BCM B2779-04
BPCM P0A0A-00
BPCM P0A0C-00
BPCM P1E73-00
BPCM P1E74-00
HCP P0A0A-00
DASM C2226-00

My plan for now is to keep driving it and make sure I have sufficient food and water and my hiking boots in case it leaves me stranded out in the woods somewhere.

@JeepCares is there a way to find out which area service department technicians have been trained on troubleshooting the 4xe? I'll happily take it to any of the dozen or so Puget Sound dealerships if I know it can be properly diagnosed. Autonation Bellevue does not answer emails or their phones; Bud Clarey Jeep in Auburn seems to provide dubious advice.

Thanks for tagging me here, Gazelle. Our dealer teams are staffed with highly trained individuals who should be well versed with the workings of the 4xe. However, if you run into any issues while in for service, we can always get a specialist involved while there. They will work alongside you and the dealer during any repairs to ensure a smooth process. We'll be in private message if that time comes!

Also, feel free to use our dealer locate tool to find other dealers if necessary: https://www.jeep.com/find-dealer.html.

UPDATE: So here I am on day 36 in service and counting! Over a month just to get a coolant pump. The part has had a delivery date of the 14th, 21st, 28th, and 7th. Noone knows when the part will be here or when it will be shipped. This is really getting silly! There is no way they can convence me there are no coolent pumps in this country. Chrysler is doing a bang up job of taking care of a customer that just bought a $60K vehicle from them.

Add me to the Check engine light club.

I have the CEL, but no DTC's.

I have noticed no changes or actual problems, just that damn CEL.

I had the same thing happen. Drove it that way for 3 weeks waiting for the dealer to get me in to assess. Light went off the night before the appointment but it took it in anyway. They said the code was from an EVAP leak but could not reproduce any issue with a smoke test. It’s been a month and no further issues.

Yeah, after not finding any DTC’s, i just cleared it, but it keeps coming back intermittently.

Oh boy, new friends!
2021 Wrangler 4xe Rubicon.
CEL on at 650 miles. DTC is P0C74 - battery coolant pump.
Took 1 1/2 months to get the new pump installed. Local service tech voiced concerned because the replacment pump wasnt the same as the one he took off but replaced it anyhow.
2 days / 100 miles later... Check engine light on. DTC P0C74 again.
Issues happen, I get it.

However . . . STAR Techs were unwilling to provide any more assistance. Stated that customer installed 35" tires and they may be causing the issue. Wheels are somehow connected to the battery coolant pump... gotcha!
They saw ABS/Wheel Speed DTCs in the scan report history.
Still refusing to help knowing CEL came on at 650 miles and tires were installed at 1,565 miles. Ugh... these are your best and brightest, Jeep?

After multiple days of worthless back and forth banter, data, photos and common sense, local service manager finally was able to convince someone that they were shipped the wrong pump. Some magical gatekeeper of these pumps agreed and as of 1:30 EDT today, the correct pump has been approved. Woohoo.

Current pump has a high pitched squeal like blades are rubbing internally on housing. Touching the pump or hoses and it frees up and spins properly without noise. Have video with audio if someone needs it.

Similar information posted at 4xeForums. Sorry for the cross post, but... info is info.

Looking for successful resolution updates from others. I promise to update when mine gets replaced again.

Joining the club of the CEL group. Was driving out to a trail head for a weekend hike/MTB ride along a washboard gravel road here in Oregon when I hit a pot hole and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. When it all settled down I had a CEL light on.

Pulled the code this morning from my reader and got a U1412 code. Which looks like an implausible vehicle speed signal.

Anyone seen this on theirs?

Here is the screen shot of the code. @JeepCares

FYI - I have about 3200miles on mine. I put 2500 miles on it stock and then had my Dealer install the Mopar lift with 37's. This was the 1st time off road with the lift but not the first time for the jeep. Most every weekend I'm up in the mountain riding my bike or hiking.

2700 miles, CEL this morning. Using level 1 charger from dealer, unplugged and started up Jeep. At startup, appeared to be much louder then usual so i though maybe the garage echo was amplifying it. Pulled out of garage, very loud for 30 second to a minute. Attempted to place into electric mode to "quiet" it down, got the message below. Tried it again a few minutes after while driving, still now allowing me to place in esave or electric. No messages appearing on dash, CEL is present. Contacted dealer, sounds like it will be going in tomorrow and i will be provided a loaner. I knew i should have went diesel... :(

Add me to the list of CEL nightmares. Exact same thing happened to my Jeep this past Friday. Power inverter module code according to local dealer. How long did it take to get yours repaired because I'm not sure how long I can drive this Dodge Journey they gave me as a loaner before I lose my mind. Hoping I don't have a lemon on my hands. Would be very disheartening.

They had it back to me in 2 1/2 weeks. Dealer install is billable 3 hours, although they said it took much longer the that. Longest part was waiting on the part.

Also make sure they run the fluid through the system. I got another check engine light a week or so later related to Tank B coolant. Guess there is 3 coolant tanks, one for ICE, one for Generator A and Generator B..?? And we are not able to install coolant ourselves, as the caps are locked.

Thanks. I sent a message to Jeep Cares too, hoping they can get me a part quickly.

This is getting even more interesting for me. The CEL cleared itself on Saturday while I was running errands. Then Sunday I went back up to the mountains for a mountain bike ride and driving along a different but similar gravel road I hit more washboard bumps and the dash lights came on and the lights all flashed again.

This time the CEL code was different U0415 - Invalid Data received from Anti-lock brake system control module.

I have an appointment with the dealer on Wednesday to look at it.

Any guess as to what's going on with this? I had a Chevy Silverado for 10year before this that made these same trips every weekend and never once had any issue with just driving on gravel roads. Seems like I'm missing something with this whole Jeep thing if this is the "best" off road truck out there.

Kate w/Jeep cares was great on getting my ticket created and escalated. Marvin w/ FCA provided excellent service as well.
