When my 4xe first arrived before I even picked it up from the dealer, they ran into problems with the hybrid system. It worked fine once I picked it up in early September 2021, but now, after 2200 miles, it has stopped working twice in the last two weeks with the same problem. After I have charged the car and left it sitting for a couple of days, it won't turn on when I go to use it. The Check Engine Light comes on and it says that the charging system needs service and that there is a hybrid system failure. When they pull the error codes at the dealership, there are several of them, but one has to do with the hybrid battery coolant pump. Last time they serviced it (as in last week), they kept the car for a few days, took apart and replaced the parts related to the hybrid battery, cleaned them, and they said they couldn't recreate the problem. But here it is again a week later. I've read elsewhere on the forum that this unfortunately appears to be a relatively common problem with the 4xe. Has anyone experienced this and found the solution yet? Do they need to replace the battery coolant pump? Many thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.

There are three battery coolant pumps on the 4xe. Received a MIL and DTC P0C74 after 650 miles of ownership. One coolant pump has been replaced twice and a second pump has been replaced once. This 4xe has been horrible to drive in Electric Mode ever since the pump failures. P2 motor in the transmission has reached 369F and the battery cells have reached 122F. Good luck with yours.

What diagnostics trouble codes does it have?

I am facing the same problem but with my 3.6l e-torque JLU. The battery system of 48v got overheated my mechanic told me to replace that auxiliary pump. Unfortunately I imported the car from USA to Oman and here in Middle East there is no part available which I have to order it from US. But the cost of shipping is equal to cost of the part itself.

The 2021 Wrangler 4xe has at least 3 battery coolant pumps located underneath the vehicle, directly below the passenger seat and at least one under the hood, driver's side directly below the coolant reservoirs.

On my 2021 4xe, their part numbers were 68400753AD, 68400748AC and 68400751AD for the three under the vehicle. Not sure about the part number for the one under the hood but it may be 68477590AC?

Some of these part numbers have had revisions. I got the revision information and their descriptions from the Mopar.com website (which I do not trust):
68617740AA (battery chiller and heater) replaced 68400753AC, 68400753AD
68400748AC (High Temp) replaced 68400748AA, 68400748AB
68400751AD (Aux Coolant) replaced 68400751AA, 68400751AB, 68400751AC
68477590AC (low temp passive pump 2)

68444148AD also listed as another Auxiliary pump on the Wrangler 4xe.
