I did. twice. I have to be a little conservative when wheeling 2000 miles from home pulling a camper. I will also stack and unstack rocks when needed.
Yeah for sure that’s one tough looking trail. On my bucket list for sure. Rocker knocker looks like a bitch of an obstacle

Zero regrets running 37s. I also followed wibornz lift advice last year and decided on a 3” 4xe Rancho lift with Bilstein shocks. My 4xe rides better than ever and the $$$ saved allowed me upgrade the majority of the stock suspension components to much beefier stuff of my choosing.

While I’m not a huge rock crawler, this Jeep has taken me to places and down rocky trails I wouldn’t have considered otherwise without the lift/37s. On normal trails, the Jeep just floats over the terrain.
Do you have a build thread?

if your steering wheel shimmy is speed related (between 45 - 60 mph) you need to get your tires balanced properly that’s all

I run balancing beads in my tires. So I don't have those issues.

21 JLUR 3.6 Auto.
Planning on AEV 2.5 lift with 37’s.
Currently running stock 4.10 gears. (Looking at 4.88 down the road)

I feel like with all the info out there, there isn’t enough.
Any regrets to going 37? Or running 37’s on a 2.5 lift?

As always, much appreciated.

I have the AEV upfit with the 37s and they put in 4:56 gearing. Ride, handling, etc are better than factory. I have had it on some tough trails with no damage to the fender from tires. (Trees, rocks, etc have scraped fenders and other parts.) If you're going to wheel hard, under body protection is key. I am prepping my Jeep for 2024 trail riding. I have no "ragrets" "regerts" or regrets.

I somewhat regret going 37s. That's only because the Jeep drives like crap now. I installed a Clayton Overland+ 2.5" and 37" Wildpeak AT3Ws on Icon Rebound rims. I get a lot of shimmy in the steering wheel and I've spend well over $1000 on alignments and troubleshooting for everyone to just come back and say, "it looks good, pay us!" or "your Jeep drives better than mine!"

If I could actually get the thing to drive well and the steering wheel to stop shaking like Shakira's hips, I would love my Jeep again, just like I loved it stock.

I just ordered the adjustable Fox Race steering stabilizer, installing it this weekend. Hoping that helps resolve my issue. I really think it's a bad tire/rim pairing but I cannot find anyone to trade me 37s for a day to confirm and I'm sure the heck not rich to just go out and spend $4000 on new rims and tires just to troubleshoot something.
If you've done the trackbar, steering box TSB, replaced the trackbar with a good aftermarket, balanced the tires, etc., it may be your balljoints. It was for me anyway. The factory balljoints just flat die. Mine did so around 20,000 miles of street use. Dynatrac balljoints fixed it. YMMV.

no.
well, maybe when having to lift the 100lb spare back onto its mount. ?

aside from the expected regearing and dealing with LCA and rear fender well rub and the decreased braking performance (and forgive me if you are already aware of this, but i haven’t seen it mentioned), be prepared to budget for a Spare Tire Carrier and CHMSL Relocater to deal with that larger spare.

Did you have the lift/37s back in May? If it makes you feel any better when you let me drive your Jeep for those 20 ft on the way back from Gemini Bridges it drove way better than mine every did. lol

My only regret with 37s is that I didn't get true 37s and have the tiny KO2s that are more like 35s

If you haven't done this already go to @Discount Tire and have them road force balance your tires. I still don't like BFG KO2's, but I liked them more after they balanced them with RF.

No regrets...... (yet)
I Just installed the same Lift on my 2018 JLUR and love it , but i also upgraded all the steering components with steer smarts stuff.. ( Tie rod, Drag Link & Track Bar ) and i have no issues at all . im on 37's as well and i also did the fox stabilizer .. was wondering if you upgraded any steering components other than the stabilizer ?? and i also re geared 4.88

sorry to hear you're having issues, hope you figure it out soon

I've been running 37's for about 25k miles. Still using 4.10's. I don't live in a super hilly area so I see 8th gear a lot. Not disappointed in having them in the least. Everyone is different though.

I'll be the first to say the only regret I have is not going to 38s. My wife's JLU has 35s and now that she's got taller fenders 37s would look great on there. The 37s on my JTOD just look so tiny in the wheel well on a 4 1/2" lift. Maybe she'll get my 37s and I'll move up... we'll see.

are your wheels hub centric? Lug centric wheels can cause those issues if the wheel is not centered via the lug nuts correctly. Hub centric rings help.

Love my 37” STT PROs on my JLR! No regrets at all. I planned for new gears, but to my surprise haven’t once yet felt it was needed. I have the 2.0 and I don’t drive it like a race car, FWIW. I spend most of my time between 8000-10,000 ft and it’s still got plenty of zip for me.

Ran 37s and 3" lift on our 2019 with stock 4.10 gears and 2.0t for 35k miles. Never a lack of power or any desire to regear. Went to 38s and there were a couple times in 4h that it wanted to bog in reverse (deep snow and sand). Decided to regear and since I was spending $3k to do it jumped to the deep end with 5.38s. Worst decision ever. Jeep was actually a half second slower 0-60 as it had to make an extra shift geared that low. Freeway rpms were too high. Lost fuel economy by 2 mpg. Save your money on the regear unless you're towing a trailer. Stock gears are fine on road and great even in the big rocks with the 4-1 low range.

Yeah.. the biggest regret is I should have gone bigger.
Put 37 Nitto ridge grappler two months before they came out with 38x12.50R17.. I am still mad.

37s should work great with you set up. Regear to 4.88 is a good move.
