If I lived in Florida, 4.88 would be a great choice. For the times that one might want to go to 5.13 would be far and few between.
Did you get the D60 in?

I went to 4.88s with my 36.5" 37s. Absolutely perfect for me. Freeways are great. Everything from Rubicon to Golden Spike was also perfect. I love this gearing and it would be great for a daily driver...if I daily drove. No more compulsory I-405 commutes for me.
When I did Golden Spike I came up Poison Spider, over to Golden Spike with a side jaunt to Where Eagles Dare, then some of Rusty Nail and eventually coming out on Gemini Bridges. It was a very long Great day. Like 12 hours or so.

Richard Pryor had a joke where he was arguing with his wife and he said that he was going to go out and get some new pussy. She said if you had a couple more inches of dick, you could get some new pussy right here. LOL.

I did. This should solve my Dana 44 issues in the back. The 60 holds 3 3/4 quarts of diff fluid unlit the Dana 44 that holds 1 1/2 quarts of diff fluid.

Did about the same, but without Rusty Nail. Poison Spider to Golden Spike, Where Eagles Dare then out on Gold Bar Rim to Gemini Bridges. Long day.

We got past Where Eagles Dare and were discussing our path, whether to continue, backtrack, etc. I think it was early afternoon. A Razr came along with a couple from Idaho. They were familiar with the trail and said we had a long way to go to get out through Gemini Bridges. I gave them a couple peanut butter cookies my wife had baked. They took off, but we found they stopped up the trail a bit. They felt sorry for us and wanted to help us....or wanted more cookies. At first the urgency of moving along wasn't pressing. We were still oggling the scenery and putzing along. But as the sun got lower in the sky, we started to see it was going to be close getting out before dark. We really started to minimize our "look-sees" and spotting and began moving along quickly. At the "waterfall", we got out looked and saw the winch anchor axle on top. While my spotter and the Razr driver were out contemplating a line up some boulders, I jumped in and just went straight up, with a bit of tire slip. We got to the highway right at dark. We agreed it was an epic day.

The thought has crossed my mind to go to a D60 in the rear. Wondering if you can use OE brakes on that D60 like the Currie? I'm pretty invested in the Teraflex Delta brakes and 5 lug wheels.

I have an axle out right now to replace a seal. Got the parts and pressed it all on yesterday. This is a Dana chromoly axle I put in earlier in the year. Somehow it appear that the lips of the seal were folded under when the seal was pushed over the axle step. These came assembled with everything from Dana. Not a big job, as you know. But I screwed up when I ordered a new parking brake assembly and got one for a smaller axle. The brake parts are the same, but it won't fit the axle. Ordered the right part, returning this one. The OE axle seal on this position leaked the first year. The OE axle had a nick in it. I fixed it myself and just soaked the parking brake shoes in acetone for a few days. I haven't put the wrong backing plate in shipping yet and I'm thinking I may just move all the parts over to the old backing plate and finish this job today, rather than drag this out another week, since the new Teraflex Delta pads came yesterday.

Some times it just works out that way. Adjust and move on. I run a light coat of diff fluid on the axle shafts with a rag before I slide them into the axle housing so that the seals will most likely not fold over or catch on the shaft. Not saying it is fool proof, just one of the things I do.

if your steering wheel shimmy is speed related (between 45 - 60 mph) you need to get your tires balanced properly that’s all
Already done, twice, same behavior.

I would put your Jeep on level ground. Loosen all the suspension bolts and re-torque them. I would also pull measurement so ensure you axles are squared up to the Jeep. Mind you a 1/4 inch one way of the other is not a big deal, but hey at least make sure it is close. I would also check your ball joints. The stock ones are good for about 30,000 to 40,000 miles before they are shot with 37s in my experience.
Already done, several times.

I loosened and retorqued all the suspension bolts. I’ve had 4 shops look at the Jeep, all stating “everything looks good” with one shop adding “your Jeep drives better than mine.”

All shops checked the ball joints and said they’re fine.

Front axle is dead on. Rear axle appears to be dead on and I’ve had shops do alignments and verify (4 alignments have been done now and they ain’t cheap)

One does not create memories like this sitting on the couch watching Family Feud. Lift the Jeep buy the tires spend the money and go wheeling. There is so much to see in the is country.
One of the wisest things I've ever seen posted on this forum. Will you buy parts that don't work out or you simply don't like along the way? Of course. How many nice restaurants have you gone to where the food didn't meet the expectation? That doesn't detract from all the great ones. That doesn't mean I'll never try a new restaurant. Life is about the experiences. The good and the bad. We do our best to make more good ones than bad ones and to even enjoy the bad. Everything has a cost, but the memories are priceless.

If you've done the trackbar, steering box TSB, replaced the trackbar with a good aftermarket, balanced the tires, etc., it may be your balljoints. It was for me anyway. The factory balljoints just flat die. Mine did so around 20,000 miles of street use. Dynatrac balljoints fixed it. YMMV.
No steering box TSB for the ‘22 model.

Tie Rod and drag link will be replaced soon with Steer Smarts stuff. Track bar came with the Clayton kit. Planning on adjustable ball joints because camber is different in both and slightly high on one side.

Did you have the lift/37s back in May? If it makes you feel any better when you let me drive your Jeep for those 20 ft on the way back from Gemini Bridges it drove way better than mine every did. lol

My only regret with 37s is that I didn't get true 37s and have the tiny KO2s that are more like 35s
I did! It’s really on the road where it feels like it’s going to fall apart. The new stabilizer is going in today, we’ll see what comes of it.

If you haven't done this already go to @Discount Tire and have them road force balance your tires. I still don't like BFG KO2's, but I liked them more after they balanced them with RF.
I will call them today. I buy all my tires there, I don’t know if they come with lifetime balancing, I didn’t buy the warranty.

No regrets...... (yet)
I Just installed the same Lift on my 2018 JLUR and love it , but i also upgraded all the steering components with steer smarts stuff.. ( Tie rod, Drag Link & Track Bar ) and i have no issues at all . im on 37's as well and i also did the fox stabilizer .. was wondering if you upgraded any steering components other than the stabilizer ?? and i also re geared 4.88

sorry to hear you're having issues, hope you figure it out soon
I didn’t do other components, yet. Just the track bar that comes with the kit. I really think it’s the tires but I need to change with another set to verify. I don’t have a few thousand dollars to just buy a set for testing.

I’m going to 4.88s too! Probably later this summer, after the other steering stuff is upgraded.

are your wheels hub centric? Lug centric wheels can cause those issues if the wheel is not centered via the lug nuts correctly. Hub centric rings help.
I’ve never heard of these terms and will have to investigate. They’re Icon Rebound rims, that’s all I know. I think they’re possibly too narrow as they are on the low end of the acceptable rim width for these tires.
