The thread (title) is about torque curves, but yeah.

(not that you're saying this) When I've been replying to others, it's typically because people are saying the 3.6L makes all of its power (torque) higher in the RPM range and that's why it sucks, why it's a minivan engine and worthless off road (typically compared to the venerable 4.0L). Well, the fact is, it makes a bunch of its torque off idle, and works really well in the JL, and as an off road engine. The JL 3.6L, manual transmission, and 4.88 gearing (with front and rear lockers) is the epitome of an off road capable vehicle.
Yeah, for it's size, it does well. I'm happy with mine. I'm on 37s/4.88/8sp. It blipped right up the waterfall on Golden Spike last week. First try. And I'm usually pretty light on the skinny pedal.

Added another from Livernois (on a JT). This one was slightly different than their JL chart, and both seem to have issues with redline. Maybe the difference in gears or a speed limiter kicking in?
