Glad you had no issues. Personal anecdotal evidence doesn't negate my issues with VM Motori.

And no need to personally attack me. There are better things to tie your ego to than your Jeep. Just showing there are those that want an EV Wrangler.
It was a joke, not an attack. Sorry if it didn't seem as so.
Running internet joke for EV vehicles.

In glad that EVs aren't forced down our throats like they were from the last administration. Good to see it being nerfed a little and allowed the V8 wrangler to come back. Hopefully more internal combustion options, maybe even a mid level V8 (5.7).

Fair. Hard to read tone in message boards sometimes. Agree for options. EV pure isn't the way, at least not yet. Need some massive tech advances in charging, batteries, etc. And even then, depends on the climate.

Hopefully 2028 brings an EV, PHEV, regular hybrid, regular gas and diesel to the J70 Wrangler. That'd be sick.

When the grid can handle all the EVs, plus range at over 500 miles, then I'd be interested. I'm guessing a decade, maybe a little less.

I found out diesel hybrids have been made before, but wasn't popular because it was expensive and complex to make, but had amazing torque and MPG. Maybe in the future.... I like the idea of being able to bring extra fuel just in case.

I like

Heard it from a reliable source that every trim will now include the 392 at no extra charge! Unfortunately, the new 2026 Wrangler will be 100% self-driving with no steering wheel or gas pedal, so.. enjoy?

😒

Revolutionary idea....just came to me...how about you get to pick your own color from a huge color wheel. Why can't they mix the paint like Sherwin Williams so we can get whatever shade we want. Still waiting for Cosmos Blue....

The cost is insane, but AEV will do that for you.

My dealer said the same thing, especially now that they charge for any color

At least the available colors for the extra cost “painted top and fenders”. It could make essentially “two tone” options available. I would have gotten black painted and Snazzy instead of blue as Snazzy needed to be broken up with black IMO, and painted were standard.

from a reliable source. starting 2026, no dealership can deny warranty claims on a failed engine due to aftermarket wheel spacers. But any other mods: SOOL

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act should protect us from shit like that. Unless, of course, the laws get rewritten to focus more on corporate rights versus private rights.

Jeep will make a dependable vehicle and their customer care quality will be through the roof dwarfing those of Mercedes and Lexus.
Jeep already surpasses M-B, Audi, and BMW. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Jeep's sister brand, RAM, is #1 overall. See the graph in attached link: https://www.jdpower.com/business/press-releases/2024-us-initial-quality-study-iqs

Wild rumor that I heard at the Jeep display at EJS this year is that the Sahara will get 360 degree cameras, with the side cameras mounted in the mirrors. Very similar to the system that's in the Wagoneer. Doesn't sound to me like it's anything ground breaking or significant, the big changes will be in 2028.

From the article:
“Owners of cutting edge, tech-filled BEVs and PHEVs are experiencing problems that are of a severity level high enough for them to take their new vehicle into the dealership at a rate three times higher than that of gas-powered vehicle owners,”

I believe this is the reason that I’m seeing so many comments online from people wanting a simpler vehicle. People want a reliable vehicle, especially when they cost so damn much.
