Not a Wrangler question but I'm curious if the 2026 order guide for the Grand Cherokee is available?

You paid $65K for a Grand Cherokee? I was just looking at the line up of Grand Cherokees at our local dealership last week. They were all priced in the $40k to $50k range.

But you are correct. Grand Cherokees have horrible depreciation. We've owned several of them in the past but stopped buying them about 10 years ago for that exact reason. They lose half of their value in the first year.

Yep. It's the 4-crappy, I mean 4xe. Dec 2024 MSRP $66,575. Trade-in value today, $25,000.

Damn - according to JD Power my 15 SRT is worth $29,257 - 31,906. One for sale near me with 65K more miles is priced at $32K, another with even more miles $33K so they must be close.. MSRP ~ $72K , paid ~ $68K ($400 under invoice)

Sounds right. Grand Cherokee's get nailed so hard on resale if it's anything above Laredo. It's as bad as BMW 7 series. Anything above Laredo loses like 80% of the price of the trim level nearly immediately it seems.

That said, '26 being refreshed was probably the 'finish him!' aspect of that equation.

Ah, yep. 4xe's are worthless. No one wants those on their lots. Regular GC's though do not have that same level of depreciation, but still bad. I.e., 30%-40% first year, depending on if you get a large discount vs little discount. And partially due to 26 being refreshed.
