Just ask @cosine he knows!
Love 2drs but that's all I've really known, and for a very long time.
Hey, if you need the room and more towing capacity (and the "real" gas tank) get the 4dr.
If you don't need that stuff and don't mind getting gas more often the 2dr for the win!

I would never get a 4dr Jeep, but if I needed one I'd get one!

The 2 door is more maneuverable, so if you don't need to make regular use of the back seat I'd consider it.
Great point - thanks.

It's just me and the dog, so the extra space of a 4dr just wasn't needed. When I first brought it home the rear seat was removed so the dog has the whole back area to himself. It's my daily driver and am quite happy with it. It took me a bit to get used to the short wheelbase, but otherwise it is an absolute blast to drive in any weather.

Excellent information - thank y'all very much.

I'm leaning towards the 2 door but do need to drive one first.
Have rented the 4 door Jeeps in Colorado before and they are cool for sure but just don't think i need the extra room/doors.

Golf clubs & a 55” TV fit in the back of a JLU at the same time with room to spare. Other than that, my input is: get what you like and enjoy what you got.

I had a 65" tv, my boxer, myself along with both of my parents fit in my JLUR lol

Not sure what the concern is about the 2 door gas tank - I typically get 450km to a tank (up to 500 sometimes)..my commute is mostly highway.
More maneuverable and with back seat flipped up can hold a decent amount of stuff.

I've been thinking of upgrading to a 4-door, but am worried that there just isn't enough extra space for my snowboard, mountain bike, and 86" TV to all fit with a months worth of groceries and my 6 great danes. /s

Of course the 2-door has it's limitations. Everything is a compromise when compared to something else. The unlimited gains space at the cost of wheelbase and weight, which generally are not wanted for off road (but not always).

One of these might fit your storage needs...;)
