It’s just a matter of size/need. As many have said one way or another, either 2 or 4 door Rubicon versions can go the same places - it’s picking the line is all.
A four door wouldn’t fit my apartment’s garage. And I grew tired of always being the one driving every dang body because I had a four door “roomy” vehicle (Jetta) and everyone else had two door vehicles. And, with the exception of the four door land yachts of the 60s and early 70s, I’m more partial to two doors.
