I check mine everyday, paranoid just like you.

Mine was similar to yours. Not even on the dipstick, 16 oz fill the first time, prob 8 oz the second, staying pretty much the same every since, maybe down a little. The level changes based on temp too I've noticed.
Fluid level changes depending on temp. Maybe we need to look not that.

Do you have any more info on that campaign? I have a 2021 but it doesn’t show as applying for my VIN.
I had a CEL, no HVAC, then the temp redlined. The battery took it to the dealership.

But this didn't apply to our VIN either.

My friend overheated his yesterday, it's only 6 months old. Sent me a video of it leaking, reservoir was bone dry. What is breaking on these 2.0 Jeeps??

Irrespective of the bolt issue, mine has appeared to have stopped mysteriously drinking coolant.

I hope it stays that way. Only thing that has changed is the ambient temperature outside.

You guys that have checked the two bolts yourself…..can they both be reached from underneath or does the upper have to be from the top? Man that is one tight squeeze from the top and blind. I bought a very small 1/4 ratchet and 30 torx for the job off Amazon.

I've been able to reach both from underneath using a small 1/4" ratchet, approx 1.5 inch extension and a 30 torx bit.

Well I tried but looks like you need a 1-1/2" or 2" extension as you noted. I inspected mine from top and bottom and no sign whatsoever of any leakage but want to crank them down if possible. Really tight spot. Thanks.

I just had to add coolant to the top opaque tank for the third time, about 12 ounces each time. I had a little coolant left over so topped off the lower translucent tank for the first time. The lower tank didn’t really need it—it was just above the min line.

fwiw, I have tightened the two water pump bolts. I also had the dealer pressure test it and they found no issue. I’m not sure where the coolant is going but I’m still losing it, albeit slowly. Once every 5-8000 miles isn’t the end of the world, I suppose.
Are you still having to top it off?

Yep. I’ve had it pressure tested twice about 10k miles apart and they found nothing. The dealer told me it’s not a closed system and i shouldn’t worry about it—not sure how a pressure test works if it’s not a closed system. Anyway I check the level regularly and end up adding about 10 ounces every 5k miles. Not the end of the world but I still worry a bit that one day it’s going to dump all the coolant at once

Okay thank you for getting back to this, I’m in the same boat.

FWIW, my daughter's JLW w/ the 2.0 uses coolant as well. Each time I check, it seems that the tank is empty or close to it. The wife's? It's fine, never goes down. Daughter's '22 went in for the water pump TSB, but not the wife's '20. Hopefully it's just a bit of air still working its way out of the system...
