Agreed. Just had a Triumph motorcycle with 400 miles on it sit at the dealer for a month broken. Took the dealer a week to get around to diagnosing after dropping it off, (I already knew the issue because it has an OBD-II port like a car) and then once parts arrived, another week to get around...
I'm usually 18-21, and then 48-49.
I'm assuming the high pressure "mode" is for when the engine is under higher boost, yes? I've noticed it's not RPM dependent, but solely on how hard the engine is pulling.
I won't give you one, I'll keep it myself lol
You're not wrong, 190 hp, or 210 hp depending on year, is an acquired taste to live with on the daily when it's put in a vehicle that is shaped like a brick. I had a Subaru that only made 148 hp and it was exponentially more pleasant on freeways. We...
He likes 03-06 TJ's as the most reliable. I can say that's really only true now that WranglerFix is in business and making replacement PCM's from an alternate Chrysler computer to fix the factory one that will definitely die on you.
Everything mechanically is indeed the "peak" of TJ, and the...
I used to live in upstate NY (way upstate, not Poughkeepsie lol) and GEICO was always unbeatable.
I too wouldn't throw much of a hissy over 10%. It wouldn't be worth my time to go through quoting and whatnot when spread out over 6 months.
But this increase is obscene and I won't stand for it...
Nothing on my end has changed. Same three vehicles, no tickets, no accidents on both driving records -- nothing. We both work from home, drive minimal miles. But yeah, must have gone on a wicked bender and wrapped my JL around a tree and forgot about it. Have already had a full policy term come...
The TJ is too far past stock more than likely. But some insurance companies might be cool about it (they insure street rods and such). The LJ only has quadratec wheels and 31's. It would pass the stock test once old enough.
Wow. I posted this and didn't come back until this morning, and this really went places.
We're in the exact same boat. 10% would have been one thing, but this is unheard of.
I'm going with a small company that I got my home policy from when I moved last summer. They don't write motorcycle...
Anyone else notice their recent or upcoming policy term's premiums have gone absolutely bonkers? My new term starts March 1. $1337 for my three Jeeps, up from about $980. Full coverage on all.
My '06 LJ's comp and collision cost double what they do on my '99 TJ (equal deductibles) -- either...
Not really, but I'll see if I can get back to the page to download the PDF attachment.
EDIT: Here is the link to the PDF attachment. Nothing really noteworthy:https://www.chrysler.com/universal/webselfservice/pdf/ZD8.pdf
Go to the “2.0L Top off frequency” thread and you’ll find many many examples.
Mine needed an entirely new inlet elbow. Thread sealant wasn’t fixing it.
And there’s this new service campaign that I found in my owner’s site.
Also, yes the turbo is liquid cooled with its own water jacket. As...
Seafoam will be worth less than a bucket of warm piss in this engine. Will never touch the intake valves and will be turned to smoke by the team it reaches the exhaust valves.
In your lawnmower, I’ve found Berryman’s B12 to be a spicier Italian tune-up though.
