I just saw I had this recall work done before I bought my ‘18 Jeep a few weeks ago. No bouncing noticed :). A little wander but not bad like others experience. Thanks for sharing this thread and the ulletin.

Same here
Ditto - August 2018 build date
Just got my V41 letter in mail but doesn’t show on mopar site for my VIN yet. Build date 9/1/18. Oddly enough on way home last Tuesday night it was shimmying over bumps again. Timing! Damper originally replaced at 3800 miles under STAR case now got 12k on the clock. Guess we’ll see if this one lasts, Too bad some factory parts just don’t last nowadays.

! I just recurved mine in the mail today too. But I have not experienced the shake shimmy death wobble so I’m not sure if I want the dealership messing up my Rubi. Mine is a feb 19 build.

Just got my notice in the Jeep app today. My jeep was literally in the shop for steering issues just last week for its third visit (got a new trackbar but didnt help the dead spot)... guess im going back for a fourth time now. I know it wont fix my dead spot but may help with it pulling to the right

Just got my notice as well. I'm having the pulling to the right issue as well. I do however have negative camber on the front driver side, about -1.5 degrees which is totally out of spec. Dealer said they can't do anything about it. Just doesn't sound right. I'm taking to Jeep to another place to have the alignment spec printed out to be sure the negative camber is correct.

I just checked the Jeep app and see I have the notice for the V41. I have a new Steer Smarts track bar coming, I wonder if should I wait to install that.

I saw my notification today for my '18 JLUR. I've not noticed any wandering per se (It's a jeep FFS vs my RRS) but I do wish that they'd fess up on the idle surging when in auto AC mode and in warm temps, That's annoying,

was just at jeep dealer for oil change and have a visor/garage button issue fixed along with the extremely loud AC fan noise... neither of the latter issues seem resolved and they never mentioned the V41 even though it's showing up on MOPAR site, wtf

Hello,
Your safety is our biggest priority, so we encourage you to schedule an appointment with your dealers as soon as possible to have the V41 completed. Also, our team would like to connect you with a Case Specialist who will oversee this process and ensure that your concerns are addressed. Has anyone been able to get a loaner car while the recall work was performed?
it was an hour job, easy to wait for it if your dealer has the part in. I've heard dealers are only being alotted like 2 of these parts per month.

I saw my notice last night and called my dealer this morning and made an appointment for tomorrow morning. Nice. I hope it helps.

The Steer Smarts Smarts track bar is arriving Friday and hopefully goes on Saturday.

I just received my notice on my phone. I guess I'm fortunate because I've had no issues with the front end (had a rocker arm fail at 11,500mi) so I hate to take it in. My JLSU birthdate was 12/18. We'll see.

Just called my dealer about the recall they said 3 to 5 months to get the part I laughed and said must not be too good of a recall if it takes that long to get a part or you’re not concerned about my safety

Yes! My pulling to the right issue drives me absolutely nuts. I had an alignment done, but they said it was "in spec" but slightly adjusted it anyway. Didn't fix it at all. I don't care about the dead spot as much as my damn car feeling like it's always out of alignment.

Just got my V41 today and will schedule soon. Dear god, please let it fix the pull to the right issue. That's really my only serious issue with the vehicle.
