Without tax and shipping

399-RC lift
532- (5) pro comp 44 series wheels
955- (5) Mudclaw Extreme Terrian tires
234- JKS Quick Dissconnect Sway Bar links

Oh and RC TIRE RELOCATION PLATE WAS $79

Like I said not including tax and shipping plus having tires mounted. I did not install my TPMS sensors due to the fast that I would Delfate for heavier rock trails didn’t want to take the chance in breaking them Inside. I paid 245 for the super chips flash cal to adjust my Speedo and RPM.

Another poster (from Colorado) made comments about the V6 losing power at altitude. You may want to seriously consider the turbocharged 4-cyl to avoid this.
I live at 5140' and the 3.6l rubi is more than adequate from a power perspective so far thanks to the gearing although we haven't been much above 9000' yet so we'll see how it does going over the Continental Divide. The 2.0t was a contender until I saw the location of the battery along with hearing about the teething pains.

This video shows where the battery lives and its 'protection':

Yeah with the added price of the turbo I can rehear.

This is a good question. I don’t know what the power loss from the 3.6 would be here. I also know that the turbo only comes in an auto transmission. I have only kept a vehicle for four years. But feel like I keep searching for the one. I had a 2012 jku rubicon that I miss. I can’t say that about any other vehicle. However I only used the lockers and disconnects once and all I did was get more stuck. Other than gearing I believe the Sport S with small lift, winch, and 35’s will be all that I need.
I live at 6,800 in Colorado, with the Pentastar. Really no concern. I’d rather have a 6 cyl Turbo (which we don’t have), then a 6 cyl, over a 4 cyl Turbo, don’t get me wrong, I love turbos, and I live at elevation. But, based on my experience, Pentastar is doing great.

Looks good...If you want a solid 1.75" suspension lift which looks great with your tires, I highly recommend buying a rubicon takeoff suspension for $200.

Cool thanks, what parts should be included with that?

We have a sport S, I put rubi takeoff suspension, paid $150, and 33' KO2s, it sounds like that would be close to what your want. Attached is a photo I shot today.

Actually, it was an '89, not an '87... I didn't catch the typo last night
The '89 Turbo had the S2 series engine in it, so it was 247 HP, but with a small cross section and a low coefficient of drag, that was enough to give you some pretty good speed and quickness. The most I was ever able to get it up to was 164 mph. From what I gathered though, if you changed out the chip which increased the boost and removed the rev limiter, it would make it to 180 mph.

I always thought the potential for swapping ends on a 911 was "part of the charm" of owning/drive a 911. :) It separated the 911 driver from the mere mortals that drove lesser cars, right? :)
Great looking Turbo! My 2 favorite colors for the 944 are red and white. You are a brave man. I usually do track events. Personally I find track days to be a very humbling experience in any car.

Thank you everyone. I had a 2012 Rubicon and used the lockers once. All it did was get me more stuck. I will go with the Sport S. Again I appreciate everyones input.
Answered you own question! I agree with most of the posts on this thread, based on your needs the Sport will be overly adequate - enjoy!

Went up 13,000 feet in Breckenridge with my 3.6 Sport S. Only mod is Rubicon take-offs and rock rails. Engine never skipped a beat.

I just used my JL to tow a load of landscaping materials while getting prepped for old man winter. Rubicon gearing made it a breeze. I was particularly impressed by how stout the upsized Rubicon brakes handled slowing down the cheap home depot rental trailer.
