Just wait until your wife is about to pop in June/July when it's 95 out and she's loading kids in the jeep when you're at work. Priorities change when you hold a baby for the 1st time. Going from 2 kids to 3 kids is more of a challenge than going from 1-2.
Congrats on the pregnancy news! I put 3 kids in car seats in the backseat of a JLU several times. It was doable for the occasional wknd ride, but not something I would recommend if your wife is driving the kids remotely often. The upright seatbacks, higher entry height for young kids to climb...

I bought the t-case with 2k miles on it from a guy on the forum who swapped in an Atlas. At the time, America's Most Wanted 4x4 in Michigan was selling them new for around $1950 with no core charge. I'd call them. Best of luck.
I'm 6'3" with a longer torso and had a 2018 jlu for 2.5 years(29k miles) that I daily drove the first 1.5 years. The driver seat was always an issue bc the back of my head was touching the roll bar when I sat up decently straight and outward visibility wasn't great. The seat needs to lower 2"...
