Off Road Pages has arrived via OTA software update!

Anybody know if the off road pages are going to be on the Sahara or only Rubicon

Very cool. Just took delivery last Friday, but it’s not on mine yet. I keep hoping to get the update request, but no dice yet.

I’m in central OH, FWIW.

I'm in Grand Rapids, MI and got the update late afternoon yesterday after I arrived home from a trip out of town. I noticed that it came back up again after you shut down the engine if you (or your wife) happen to open the door before starting the update or selecting the schedule for later option.

Used to be you had to have the engine running the whole time the Uconnect update was going on.... no more...NOW, the vehicle has to be turned off or the update will not proceed. So I have read....

I mean how many 8.4’s are there? I would not think it should be this difficult.

Eh, this is FCA we're talking about here. I still want to know why they were disabled to begin with. I bet the answer is probably stupid, silly, and inherently uncomplicated that became the exact opposite thanks to bureaucracy, beancounters, and bullshit.

Just be thankful its OTA and not something that requires a dealer

So I'm not sure if it "just" went out or if it has ready been rolling out for 3 weeks and it just hasn't propagated to everyone yet. As for slow roll outs there is a few reasons for that. One if everyone got it at the same time their servers would crash. Second by not releasing to everyone they create a smaller pool of affected users should the update cause an issue when released.
