Congratulations! My understanding is the eTorque was only available for the '19 and 20's. Back then a lot of folks thought this was to test for the 4xe. @Xcoaste nailed how I would check.Something is clearly off...I just drove from Colorado Springs to Dillon and back and building boost is a complete non-issue. I can count on one hand the number of times it downshifted, I averaged 19.1MPG on the trip, and mine is not tuned.
My vote, don’t even bother looking under the hood just look underneath the Jeep. The best way to tell if any vehicle has eTorque is to open the hood and see if there is an alternator. If there is, then it doesn't have it.
There was some effort involved since the same question was posted in two different locations. If only this topic was covered more frequently, I mean with pictures and stuff![]()
Can we not get better trolls in here?
Correct, Wrangler applicable.I don’t think any 2024 have eTorque…?
Tomato, Tomato I suppose.... If there are a bunch of other skid plates or amor you might have others get confused though. My vote, don’t even bother looking under the hood just look underneath the Jeep.

Super simple, if you post the windows sticker we can tell youHellow everyone, i just bought a 2024 willys 2.0 , how will i know if mine has the e torque? I bought it has week and now have 400 miles.
You’re right of course. For my simple mind alternator vs generaotor, or counting coolant tanks is too complicated.Tomato, Tomato I suppose.... If there are a bunch of other skid plates or amor you might have others get confused though.
This advice is all way too practical when I could just ask (and trust) strangers on the internet who may or may not know what they’re talking about.Read your frickin widow sticker. Lift your hood. Look under your Jeep. Talk to your salesperson before you buy a vehicle... please read your owners manual/search the forum before posting more questions in the future (how do I use my four-wheel drive? What does this button do?), or the flaming and trolling will escalate...![]()
