If you have a trailer hitch, its probably going to get in the way and make installation more difficult (unless you have a helper with very small hands) so may be easier to drop the bumper in that case.It takes 5 minutes to take the bumper off guys, just take the bumper off to make it easier on yourselves!
From the rear view of the back of the metal bumper its a multi piece bumper which is different from the plastic version but the reflectors fit the same way.I have factory steel bumpers. I have assumed the lights will fit....I preordered and am awaiting delivery. I took a look at the install today...not worried about the wiring but I don’t think it’s possible to get behind the bumper...removal might be necessary. This picture of the installed lights on the web site appears to be in a steel bumper. The instructions are for a plastic bumper. Oracle??
I feel the same, simply just take off the bumper (in my case OEM steel). Also a opp to install the hitch as well...It takes 5 minutes to take the bumper off guys, just take the bumper off to make it easier on yourselves!
No tracking info since confirmation and invoice... waiting as hopefully it will be a project to consume some time over the holiday break.Anyone get a tracking on these yet?
I haven’t received any tracking information yet as well. Didn’t they say 12/21 or 12/22. Guess not???No tracking info since confirmation and invoice... waiting as hopefully it will be a project to consume some time over the holiday break.
Someone said they were waiting on boxes... I don't care if it's in a brown cardboard box readily available next day from Uline... I want my lights...They said that it is running late because of supplier issues.
Cool hopefully have installed by New Years. These are going through final QC, kitting, and shipping as fast as we can get them out the door.
