I'm not sure why they say it won't fit 392/diesel/4xe... doesn't make any sense to me.
The valving of the damper will be completely different due to the vehicles weight. They'll fit, the damping would be incorrect for the spring rates.

Maybe... but that list should also include the 2-door.

Curious what springs yours came with. I picked up my XR Rubi a few days ago. It has the steel bumper group and the tow package. Bump stop clearance is about 1.75 inches. Front springs are part number 0191AB.
I need to crawl under to try to read the part number; I looked and I can't decipher without crawling around under there, and I haven't had time to do that yet.

It's this one, correct? If so this kit does not include shocks.

With stock bump stops, the XR can run a shock as short as 17.625". If your shocks are 17.9" like other Falcon 2" lift shocks I've seen, you should consider installing a 0.5" - 1" bump stop extension with stock uppers. Or confirm the length of the Taraflex bump stops and make up the difference with lower extensions.
Adding TF 3.5" springs, Falcon 3.1 and TF Progressive Bumps. I'm pretty sure those Progressive bumps won't collapse more than the .275" difference so not planning to add any additional bumpstop up front. Running 2" in rear. When I tested with 37s and the 1" XR bumps I rubbed out back.

Thank you to everyone who has shared in this thread, read it cover to cover.
Had a quick peek at the bumpstops on our '22 XR High Tide and there is a nice gap. +1-3" (no ruler)
Plastic bumpers no add-ons yet.
I'll share a photo when the Jeep returns.
Ordered May '22 delivered Sept '22
I was worried I'd find the less than 1" gap as some have demonstrated in their photos (is this solely result of add-ons + steel bumper/winch/etc?) or did some of you have little to no gap into the bumpstop stock from the factory? (I'll go reread some early pages and try to answer this for myself)

Thanks again and happy XR'ing (love ours, not bottomed out yet but this thread prompted my interest)

Yes, some XRs such as mine, came with the wrong springs from the factory, causing more sag than what there is supposed to be for your option set.

Part #s for the front springs our '22 High Tide shipped with:

FR 0190AB
FL 0189AB

I'll update how it sags after we swap the bumper + add winch. Thanks all!

I don't know how to cycle a suspension but that sounds like fun. We're new to 4x4 offroading + Jeep world.

I think that's the same they shipped some steel bumper 2.0's with. I would assume it shouldn't be bad. Some got shipped with

FR - 0187AB
FL - 0188AB
RR - 0222AA
LR - 0223AA

which is softer I assume.. @unsavory?

Yes, higher number, stiffer spring rate.

Does anyone have pics of the REAR bump stop of an XR? Need to see what stock looked like.

I had a Clayton lift installed, and they added like 2” MORE bump stop, front and rear, killing all the uptravel I was paying to get back. I need to take it back and have that removed.

So they have that steel bar on top of the elevated pad on the axle? Can anyone else confirm? Trying to decide what I need to put on to get back to stock.

I you have the extended bumpstops removed you may bottom out the lift shocks and if you have bigger then 35” tires you may also rub the back fenders. Bumpstops limit uptravel to protect your fenders when installing bigger tires.

On my XR the rear has one inch bump stock, I believe. My 37’s don’t rub with no lift, but my flex is very limited and the front bump is huge so I’m having 3.5” lift installed soon to give me that extra cushion needed. I’m sure additional rear bump and a little front bump will need to be added with the lift

Which Clayton lift did you have installed?
