Did you get yours in BroncoHound? I went ahead and ordered the stand alone will be here monday. Hopefully a newb can install. :)
Yessir, I just installed it about 30 minutes ago. Easy install, just unplugging the accelerator pedal, plugging the Banks cable in its place, and hooking it to the OBD-II port. It look longer to wind the 50ft of excess cord and route the Banks unit up out of the way than it did to "install" it.

I only drove it around the block to test the settings out (and to make sure I didn't dick anything up with all the other stuff I was doing with the Jeep today, but THIS is how I expected the Jeep to drive when I picked it up. Maybe my expectations were unrealistic coming from a 2nd gen 24V Cummins that has a light pedal, but the throttle delay on top of the turbo lag made the pedal feel VERY squishy to me when I first brought the Jeep home. With the Pedal Monster installed and turned about halfway up, the Jeep drives the way I expect it to. I'm very happy with the improvement.

Also, can confirm Banks Pedal Monster and Tazer Lite play nice and nobody is getting in anybody else's way down under the dash.

A throttle enhancer is probably the single best mod for an Ecodiesel, but without actually trying it, potential buyers find it hard to understand what the hub bub is all about.

Ordered mind directly through Banks. They have excellent customer service and technicians to walk you through anything you need.

I’m waiting to hear back from them. They either sent me the wrong OBD cable or the gauge I carried over from my 2500 is incompatible. I could’ve sworn the GM and Jeep iDashes were though.
I was too excited I had all the trim pulled and didn’t find out till it was time to plug in the gauge, lesson learned lol.

I have a 3.0 Diesel JLU. I am looking to use both the Tazer Mini and the Banks Pedal Monster on my Jeep. Can they be used at the same time?
I have the Banks Derringer and Pedal Monster and Tazer in my JLUR Ecodiesel. No problem at all. If you like the Pedal Monster get the Derringer. You will not believe the difference. I just installed an AFE Power Cold Air Intake today. Once I got everything right, loong story there, I took it out to see what it would do. With the Pedal Monster at Maximum Track mode, the Derringer at 6, I set the Tazer to clock a 0-60 and ran 7.92! Not bad for an off road box!

Does the pedal enhancer help that lag when starting from a stop? Also I live in a hilly area and noticed that sometimes the transmission seems to shift late when coming off a hill onto flat road as slower speeds. It usually shift around 2000 rpm but these situations it getting over 3000 and that lag makes me question if it’s going to shift. Anyone else experiencing this? Been driving a manual TJ for 18 years so just used to being in more control. Thanks

100% yes a throttle booster corrects the lag on the pedal. There is still a bit of lag before the torque really pours in, but it is typical turbo lag found on pretty much any turbo diesel engine. The vehicle feels like its supposed to after the addition of a throttle booster. This is my first automatic jeep, first automatic diesel, and first automatic of any kind in 19 years (aside from a brief stint with a GC SRT several years ago) so I know exactly the disappointment you are feeling in the throttle control and I'm orders of magnitude more happy with it after adding the throttle booster.

Thanks for the stats. Is that on 35s or 37's? Any chance if you had the stock time?

Yes the pedal commander does help with pedal lag. Turbo lag is still there but you can't get rid of that entirely because physics.

I'm in a hilly area and haven't noticed a shift lag at all, before or after installing the Banks products.

Wait a minute. What's all this unbridled enthusiasm for throttle enhancers? Can't you just push harder on the accelerator pedal and get the same effect?

[just kidding]

Thanks. I’ll put the throttle enhancer on the next round of upgrades!

It’s most noticiable on one intersection when pulling into a street with 45 mph so may just be trying to get up to speed too fast.
