Long story but will keep it as short as I can.

I have a 2025 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door, Extreme Recon Package. Joose. Sticker was $54k, paid mid 40's. Did a Carvana quote for giggles and then quoted me $23, 200 for it. It has 2500 miles and was bought just 3 months ago. This is CRAZY! This is $31k under sticker and about $20k less than I paid 3 months ago. Is Jeep resale really this bad nowadays? I even had to do a manual estimate and speak with someone at Carvana as it was so new. No damage, no issues, even had it serviced already.

Sure doesn't seem right. Wonder if your location is effecting it.

Consider likewise the baggage that Carvana itself has been carrying.

From the linked article:

"Carvana’s business already faces major headwinds. Used vehicle prices have declined 20.3% in the past 3 years, according to the Manheim Price Index. Subprime auto loan delinquencies are now higher than during the Global Financial Crisis, per Fitch."

There's also the shadow that hovers over the sale of a new vehicle by its original owner so soon after purchase.

No algorithm was involved in this. It was so new I had to call cabanas so called “experts” for a manual quote. Even sent them the window sticker

I was offered 21k from Carvana for my 2019 Sport S 2 door a couple months ago. MSRP was 38k. I paid 30k for it back in 2019.

You're being heavily low balled here.

Being a 2 door, it is probably not high in demand. If it has the 2.0 engine, then that is probably another negative. But even with that, they are still low balling you. Maybe it has to do with your logistic area.

This isn't the time of year for the best offer. Try again in April or May, it will be considerably higher.

What would you expect for a used 2025 vehicle? You can get 3k back on a new one now along with 0% for 72 months.....I know you were for 'giggles' but what did you expect for a used 2025?

lol, not $30knunser sticker and $23k less than I paid 3 months ago. Jeep is not doing 0% in wranglers btw. This just confirms what I knew, that jeep resale has turned to trash. I also have a Bronco, and for fun put that in. Was given a $56k offer for my used Bronco.

so jeep is no longer the resale champ, it’s hit the bottom.

oh and my Bronco is a 2024, jeep a 2025.

the Bronco offer is around $6k less than I paid. The new offer is $22k less than I paid.

None... but it pays well.
I admit there is about a $3k hit on used jeep prices from a year ago. Plus I have noted a number of Broncos that were not in my location until June this year. Wrangler still it top dog but Broncos are starting to be the 4dr competitor. Oddly my JL 2dr is one of the many 2dr JK and earlier variants.

Last year when purchased my used Jeep was around $30k and higher in various areas. I got it for $28k. Now because I put 30k more on the ODO and cool down on used Jeeps, its around $25K. I don't mind the loss, but Used doesn’t depreciate as much as new. A new car can depreciate just driving it off the lot.

NADA can't provide a trade value on a 2025 2-door Willys with 3k miles, citing not enough data.

If you plug in a 2024, same data, it spits out a low of 25k and a high of about 28k. It adds a premium for low mileage which would likely be subtracted out for a 2025 model year. Carvana is probably in the ballpark, even if it's the lowest end of the range.
