The irony of this thread being revived from the dead by a retired service manager is not lost. Lmao.
OMG it is over 2 years ago!!!! I'm sorry😄😄 chances are there is a new GM and Service manager there now. It came up on my feed, I thought it just happened. I will move on and get a life now.

Well, everything I just reported has happened since January of 2025......with the most recent experience in August. So, I found the thread timely and relevant. I had not seen it before. Perhaps JEEP needs to get it's head out of it's ass, because nothing has changed in 2 years.

What dealer what service manager. I'm in Boston this week, wouldn't mind poking.

I am having the craziest jeep dealer experience ever, I took my 2023 Rubicon in for a radio issue and the motor has a diesel sound when it is cold, the writer said there was a TSB and they would remove the heads and clean out the cylinders. when I got the jeep back a week later they said the radio was fixed, I just needed to call XM for a refresh, well after the refresh nothing had changed. The writer also said if the engine sound persist he would replace the engine. the sound was the same so I checked the motor and it was obvious the heads had never been removed. I returned to the dealership, and the same writer went out of his way to help me. he said they would check further into the sound and radio. he said he would look into an engine. after a week i went to the dealership to check and they said the sound was coming from the rear diff and he would have to rebuild it and replace the drive shaft. The undercarriage he was ordering comes with new rotors so I would be getting a free brake job. when I asked about the new motor he said my jeep did not qualify for a new motor. (to no ones surprise). I then get a call from the parts dept a week later saying my radio was in. i have a tracker on my jeep so I know when it is in the shop and when it is in the parking lot. the first week it sat in the parking lot the whole week except when it was driven the day they said it was ready. this last time it was in the shop for less than a day after I dropped it off, and for less than 3 hours after the radio was delivered to the dealership. I believe all this crazy lies for just replacing a radio. it has been out of the shop of two days sitting in the same spot. He said it will be ready tomorrow. after all these lies I am suspicious I had $1600.00 worth of service performed, tranny service w/new filter, oil, radiator flush. etc. when I looked at the transmission pan it has never been removed either. I will check to see if I have a new drive shaft. I almost wonder if there is an internal competition to see which advisor can tell the most lies. anyway i am terrified of dealerships now.

Hope it is ok. I am worried about mine.
Got mine back yesterday, the regular writer was out and another service writer said it was ready. since last week. today the original writer called to pretend he was calling me, and acted surprised when I said I already picked it up.

Final report, I picked up my Jeep, and they said they fixed a small leak in the rear pumpkin, and replaced the radio. the final warranty bill sent to Stellantis was for lower engine rebuild, including crankshaft and bearings. very big discrepancy. I can't get anyone at Stellantis to pay attention to me, so I will let it go. no wonder Jeeps are so expensive to buy.

Same.. and of course no updates from the service advisors about anything unless I call
I truly dislike dealerships. Jeep cares only talks and EMAILS ,no real resolution. Hope you get your Jeep back soon. And it is better than when you took it in.
