I would love a dead pedal on my 6MT Willys - does anyone make one?

Maybe just the top section of this amazon dead pedal could work behind the clutch pedal? How could one possibly fit? I'm in my JT mojave right now and with my boot touching the kick panel I have ~3" between the brake pedal and my boot... with an auto. Unless you're dead pedal was above the clutch you couldn't possibly fit your foot next to the clutch unless you have Cinderella feet?
Why though? How would you get your foot in there to use it?Maybe just the top section of this amazon dead pedal could work behind the clutch pedal?

When I'm not shifting, I rest my foot to the left and behind the clutch pedal. It feels strange without a dead pedal there like I have in every one of my other vehicles (including 3 MTs).Why though? How would you get your foot in there to use it?
I'm willing to bet the inside of door to inside of door measurements aren't that different between the 2. I'd be interested in a measurement if you have a chance. It is a little silly that my tiny sports car can have three pedals and a dead pedal and Jeep can’t.

Makes me want to check the company prius too. There's a reason that the 4runner and bronco feel so massive inside, because their bodies are full size trick width. In my JT right now with my elbow on the window sill I can touch the passenger door, no way that happens in a full size.Give me a couple hours![]()
When it's a thread calling for making that space robbing waste of metal standard equipment of course we are going to comment. If you're an oompa loompa and need a foot stool in YOUR Jeep, by all means buy it and add it. On the off chance Jeep actually listens to their customers we will remain vocal about the fact that we do not want one thanks.I find it amusing reading these dead pedal hate replies. Why so triggered? If I was an Anti Dead-Pedalist (Lol) and came across this particular thread, I’ll give it a hard pass. I’ll then jump into my Wrangler, barefooted, and begin to fondle that precious empty space of what could’ve been with my toes until I pass out from over enjoyment but I digress. I purchased this

I like that it has a hinge so I can remove the mat.
Now let me go a get prepared to watch my Eagles show some brotherly love to that team from DC.
I was gifted a dead pedal not long after I brought my new JLU home. It too remains new in the box. Luckily for me the person who bought it hasn't inquired about how I like it.I bought a dead pedal, a few months after buying new. But, I have long legs and enjoy being able to stretch out. So, I haven't installed it. Still in the box, 6 years later.

Whether or not you prefer full size tricks…that’s not for me to judge.Makes me want to check the company prius too. In my JT right now with my elbow on the window sill I can touch the passenger door, no way that happens in a full size.
