I test drove Wranglers with the Turbo, while they are quick, the turbo popping on and off each time I gave it a bit of gas was a bit annoying creating a feeling of lag. Not sure why the standard 6 would have a lag.

If you guys want to experience real throttle lag, drive a 2006 Liberty CRD. Or any 2007 Liberty. I had an '06 CRD. The Wrangler is fine. Throttle-By-Wire has come a long way.

If you open the hood, you’ll discover 214 dead (some cooked) halibut obstructing the path from your foot to the gas pedal to the engine.
