They turned out to be almost exactly the same, ~18.5” across. The Jeep has a little more air inside the panel, but they’re essentially the same.I'm willing to bet the inside of door to inside of door measurements aren't that different between the 2. I'd be interested in a measurement if you have a chance.
I'm with you on branding. I keep my Jeeps pretty much stock, so it has to say Jeep or nothing.Another vote for the Quadrate dead pedal with rubber pad. Kind of looks OEM. Spun the pad 180 so the Quadratec logo is at the top because I didn’t want to see it. But now I know it’s still there and upside down so IDK. I just don’t like branding if I can avoid it.

Reading is hard, reread the thread title and tell us again that the OP didn't ask us? "WHY IS THERE NO DEAD PEDAL?" In answer to the OPs question, it's because it's not necessary, some of us absolutely don't want one, and you can easily add one if YOU want to.OP's question. Is the wrangler the only vehicle made without a dead pedal. No, OP it's not. Lots of vehicles out there don't have dead pedals.
OP, there are several good options. My only suggestion would be don't go cheap, a lot of cheap ones won't hold up.
As for the rest, Like, don't like a dead pedal, who cares, OP didn't ask you.
Not sure but I can investigate it a bit to see@813 Fabrication & Design Jeremy - I know there's not a lot of room, but can you make one for us 6MT owners who want a dead pedal?
No room for a dead pedal on my 2023 Rubicon. Already a 3rd pedal in the way...Is a Wrangler the only vehicle without a dead pedal??? It's one of the only things I'm not liking about my new Willys.
With the stock clutch and pressure plate it's been known to turn itself into a dead pedal anyway. No room for a dead pedal on my 2023 Rubicon. Already a 3rd pedal in the way...
My Jeep is massive compared to my Bug. I guess it's all a matter of perspective.Whether or not you prefer full size tricks…that’s not for me to judge.
My previous two vehicles were full sized trucks. When I picked up the Jeep in LA to drive home it felt claustrophobic after about an hour. After the first week it didnt bother me.
