After owning many vehicles (more than 60), including 7 Wranglers, we traded in my wife's Rubicon on a Land Rover Defender. A couple years later we looked at a Genesis GV70 and fell in love with it. A little later, my wife mentioned her favorite car ever was her Mini Countryman, so we traded my Kia Sportage in on her new Countryman, and her GV70 became mine. We both now had our favorite car ever.

Soon thereafter, I realized that my favorite car for around town driving was her Rubi, and she mentioned that she missed her Rubi, so we decided to keep our favorite cars overall and add our weekend fun car. We bought a CPO 2021 2 dr. Willys with 14,000 miles on it and couldn't be happier.

A Jeep has been one of those things I've desired since childhood. I've had other 4WD vehicles, but now that I'm well into geezerhood, I finally got a Wrangler 3 years ago. Shouldn't have waited so long. ;)

I sold my 2013 Shelby GT500 convertible to get this Jeep. I honestly thought I was done with Jeeps after my JK. It was GREAT but the wife and I really wanted me to get something that fit me well (even if I needed to modify the seat on day 1), was reliable and had a POWER top. The GT500 was a lot of fun and very comfy once you were in it. I broke my back many years ago so getting in and out of a very low car is agonizing so I found myself not wanting to drive it.

On bad days I needed something where I could push a button and the top went down. Even the Jeep power top really does not do this as the back windows stay put. Then I discovered MyTop, sold the Shelby and ordered this Jeep! LOVE it. Takes 10 seconds to put the top down so I use it all the time and it is just plain fun to drive, not to mention of my 10 previous Jeeps this one is by far the best off road.

Because I like a truck that can pull a trailer, convertibles and going offroad. While mine is a bit of a pavement princess, I owned a convertible for many years and really missed not having one after several years. Why a Jeep? Because I'm no longer graceful crawling out of a low clearance sports car convertible at this time in my life.

Because I'm a financially irresponsible man child who enjoys playing off road with adult sized toys.

This topic is probably a duplicate from a old one but here it go: So why you have own a Jeep ?

Jeep landed in the family because of my grand father. He came back from the other side of the pond with a bunch of war story and I guess he passed the idea to my dad who got a CJ 7. My dad was having two dream car he wanted to own in is life a Jeep and a corvette, he got the jeep first and never got around to the corvette. I guess Jeep is all you need
Learned to drive on that jeep and later on got a JK and now a JL.

So I guess it run in the family :)
4 wheel drive for upstate NY winters and top down for summer driving. Nothing else compares.

My best friend had a CJ5 in HS. And I always thought flatfenders were cool. So in 89 I bought a 46 CJ2A and fixed it up for off roading (still have it). In 2008 I bought a 98 TJ and fixed it up for off roading (still have it). Didn't care for the JKs so much, but the first time I saw a JLU XR I decided I needed one. Wife has a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek, and we went away for a few days in it. PIA to get in and out of, and my legs cramp after a few hours. So I got rid of my 96 Dodge 1500 4x4 and my Toyota Yaris and got a 23 JLU Willys XR 2.0T as my daily driver, date night vehicle, and trip vehicle. I guess I'm a Jeep guy.
