I haven't washed my Jeep yet, so I haven't had that problem.

Still says "Wash Me" that someone wrote on it, and "Fvck you" as my response.

I tuned into one of my local stations that I used to listen to as a teen, but stopped when I got shipped out 20+ years ago. I was surprised how great the programming was. I will be tuning in more often.
Lol!
That's a good point about local stations. I'm fortunate to live where "local" stations still exist with live, local personalities on air. They still go out and do broadcasts on-location around the area. Kinda old school, and I love it. It's amazing how many stations are owned by out of state conglomerates now.

I like local radio too. But it's tough getting over the fact that the music I grew up with is now on the "oldies" station. How the hell did that happen?? :)

I heard Aerosmith on the oldies station in the 90's.

The terrifying thing is when you realize that Nirvana is more classic rock to me than Led Zeppelin was to my dad.

I saw a T-shirt the other day that said, "It's weird being the same age as old people."

Before you toss your antenna in the trash, consider emergency situations use. Most of us own a 4x4 in part at least, for emergencies that require us to get from point a to point b regardless of weather or obstacles. Keeping your traditional antenna may allow you to receive important local broadcast if other communications are down.
