I've been driving nothing but Jeeps for 40 years now.
Once the unlimited finally kills off the wrangler, which I assume will be fairly soon, I'll have to switch to the Bronco to get a 2 door. Not looking forward to it, but I don't see myself ever driving a 4 door so I don't really have a...
It's not very loud. I will see what I can do, but I don't know if I can get the sound to pick up on video.
after driving a while.
The dealership did my oil change, so not sure on oil or filter.
The jeep and engine are both 14 months old with 7k miles.
I really tried to find a video of...
engine has about 7k just over a year old, this has been noticeable for a few months now, and I'm wondering if it's just the normal engine noise, or if I've got lifter/valve or other issues?
Like the title says, you can hear a clicking or ticking sound, not too loud be definitely noticeable...
I've driven nothing but jeeps with manual transmissions since the 1980s.
my JK manual transmission sucked. it was crap. Always popping out of gear and the dealership kept claiming it was fine. Very unpleasant.
my JL is my first automatic Jeep. I like it. I won't go back.
you're going to have to post close up pics of the actual damage for us to help.
most likely, it's time for a new top, you can get one used for fairly cheap. hopefully just the top was damaged and not the jeep itself.
if the top is broken, connectors or whatever on the frame, you don't...
I assume the reason you see so many of these for sale is that nobody is willing to buy them.
If you customize your rig into something very unusual, and it makes you happy, that's cool, that's what jeeps are for, but if you're thinking of selling it, it's probably a good idea to keep and...
I can't wait.
I'm very excited about a 2 door electric wrangler. And by the time I can afford one, the tech will be leaps ahead of where it already is now.
so cool. insane that it's taken so long to finally arrive.
heh. you don't know what purple enjoys. The big blue duck now lives on a comfy shelf indoors with the other received ducks. it will be passed along after a few weeks because it's too cool to keep. Most of the time I only keep one or two on the dash for ducking, cause I have top and doors off...
After reading on this forum how much some people hate ducks I've made it a rule that we only "duck" jeeps that already have ducks on the dash. If we're bored and go out ducking jeeps, and come across one but it doesn't already have any ducks, we skip it and just move on to the next one...
I dunno, it's just fun to me. I don't know how people don't enjoy random gifts from strangers.
Thank you to the person who did this, made my whole day, maybe my week. Big smile the whole drive home. And I just got 3 free pizzas thanks to another nice stranger who had coupon codes they...
I've had mine to just under 110, and it felt like it had a LOT more to give, wasn't even working at that just cruising comfortably.
I was passing someone and looked down and shocked myself at the speed cause it didnt' feel that fasst. I've had that happen a few times, just punch it to pass...
You can only charge as much for something as people are willing to pay.
If Jeep people are willing to pay twice as much for something as everyone else, does that say more about the people charging it, or the people willing to pay it?
It certainly seems like there is a lot of profit they...
My best was in I think a TJ or YJ when I had a bikini top on, and the rain started gathering in it like a big bucket. As the center sank, more and more rainwater gathered in it.
As I drove down the road, eventually the weight of all the water became too much and the whole thing snapped...
That doesn't sound fun, but I suppose given the choice I'd probably take 105° in texas with no humidity, than 100° here with 60% humidity.
I was working in SA a few years back and when I came out the temp in my rental car said 115°, which isn't even a thing that can happen here yet, but...
as much as I LOVE having no top or doors, I would hate to give up playing in deep unplowed snow.
Not many things like hitting a 5 foot snow drift at 30mph and making it explode, then doing victory donuts in a cloud of luffy snow.
but that's a ways off still.
80 here this weekend, perhaps the last days for this year with no doors and no top, then into the cool and cold weather till well into next year. Doors back on, then hard top.
The drought was great for JEEPs this year, we got almost zero rain, so can't really complain, but sad for the...
