Did you put A ground strap on the tailgate?

I didn’t, no. I checked the resistance from the shield of the cable to the body and it was less than 2.5 milliohms. The tailgate is grounded through its hardware pretty good. Each Jeep may be a little different. I take readings on all of the installs I do.

Thanks again. I suppose I can install everything and then if I do not get the proper SWR readings I can always go back and add a grounding strap.
I have also thought about installing the antenna on the front driver side fender as I did that on the JTR I had, but I prefer to put it on the back passenger side.
