Another small point to consider is what are people in your area using. Controllers get lost, damaged, faulty etc.
if you’re running the same family of winch as a lot of other people, you can borrow one to get you out of a situation.

Can you add a remote to non-platinum Warn Zeons?

I don't think I want a winch without a manual clutch.

I wish there was more information out on the Superwinch EXP.
Yes, Warn makes a wireless remote for non-Zeon Platinum winches.

We offer many winches. I would recommend the Quadratec Stealth winch:

Jeep Wrangler JL What winch are you using? quadratec-q12000is-with-synthetic-winch-line-upclose-led-on

https://www.quadratec.com/p/quadratec/q-performance-stealth-winch

This winch has 4.9 HP series wound waterproof motor with wireless remote control, this winch has a removable clutch lever to prevent anyone stealing the line from it and an amber LED winch spool light strip. Other key features include die cast finned aluminum solenoid housings that dissipate heat, class leading gear ratios for fast line speed, low current draw and either steel or synthetic line options — all topped off by a reassuring IP67 rating meaning the winch is fully waterproof and submersible. All Q-Performance winches include a limited lifetime warranty on mechanical parts and 1-year warranty on electrical components.

Here is a link to all of the winches that we offer:

If you have any questions any of them just let us know we would be happy to help!

Thank you and have a great day!

WARN zeon 10S. It fits really well in the factory steel bumber group. As others have mentioned, make sure you get the winch plate.

Which plate did you use to clear the winch guard?

I’ve had a lot of winches a good top end warn obviously you can’t go wrong had a hydraulic mile marker that was a great winch also, but I have switched to the badlands 12,000# I have used them numerous times and abused been under water ect and have yet to have one fail. On top of that you can get the two year warranty no questions asked. Have a buddy that runs one on his rock buggy no issues at all. They are cheap too. I just switched mine over to synthetic rope, but don’t have a pic right now.

I have used the Warn Zeon 10s for one year and have winched out myself or others about 10 times and it is so great. Somethings are worth the extra money- being stuck alone in the mountains... I am glad I have the dependable Warn Zeon.

If it’s for show then go with the VR
