was my trusty Sierra Designs 3.5 Season tent for a long time, up until a Pacific Northwest tour with the likely prospect of regular rain and wet ground.

since then it’s been the lightest (lowest CoG) and lowest-profile (lowest Cd) RTT i could manage, and that's been OK.
sure makes it easier to pack up and get out there, and a lot more enjoyable for the Zouchette.

Aww. What's going on with your sleeping bag. Is there anything I can do to help? I've been there man and it sucks. But I promise your sleeping bag it does get better over time.

I have been a ground tent camper since I was a kid. But as I get older I desire a bit more comfort. My ideal setup would be a truck camper on a 4x4 truck. Then be able to tow my Jeep to get to those places not suitable for a truck camper, such as Moab. I could still setup the Jeep to sleep in for a night or two. If I add Starlink I can work from just about anywhere. 🤔

We've done quite a bit of work from camp, just make sure you have enough power to run the starlink and laptop, they suck down more than you'd think.

What are your camping setups?

This is my wife's setup for camping clamping with our Jeep.

So far I like this the most.

I am in the same "camp", I like a hot shower at the end of the day

Pretty easy to accomplish, I've got 30 gallons of fresh water and a propane water heater on the trailer.

I've not yet camped at a State, Provincial or private campground where I didn't have access to a decent bathhouse with functioning showers. See the photo in post #7 for a related example. :)

I agree and I have used them in the past. Along with the shower, I also like a hot meal that is not MRE or cooked by me. I have plans to get a trailer sometime down the road. Until then, most of my expeditions ends at a hotel with hot shower, meal and a nice bed to sleep on

Not my camping set-up obviously, but I have found these YouTube videos really quite facinating. When I start watching one of them, I know I am going to be there for the whole 36 minutes, or however long the video is, because I can't make myself quit watching it. They have some fantastic camping gear in these videos. Even the food she prepares looks scrumptious.
