Do you have any regrets having such a large RTT on top? I just picked up the iKamper 3.0 and looking at how big it is compared to my Autana 3 wondering what lessons I should keep in mind besides the obvious.

We have no regrets. It's the right tool for the way the wife and I travel. We have 200 watts of solar on top, a huge exped mattress with power upstairs. Bedding stays up top. Well insulated for below freezing nights and open flaps all around with screens for summer nights with a couple of fans. We also have standing room in the back of the jeep when the camper is deployed. Our tents rarely get used any more.

Thanks for the response. Hoping for the same!

Go anywhere. I am very pleased with the towing experience on and offoad. Setting up camp is quick. And for the long road trips, the James Baroud tent quickly deploys without any additional piles, stakes, tensioners, etc....and is top-rated for wind. Unintentionally tested that also.

Thank you 74 I like it. Wondering if you can show more on the trailer?

The trailer is a XV2 made by Schutt Industries. They make a shorter one, the XV3, also. Take a look at the website. If you have more questions, don't hesitate. I have 35" tires on mine, Schutt is a no jokes trailer manufacturer...all business. They manufactur trailers for the military. It is all aluminum construction, 1,400 lbs with 20 gals of water.

Here's my setup. Roof tent is a Rev C6. I love it. It's not the quickest to put up, but it is extremely lightweight and can also be used as a ground tent.
I have been seeing the Rev tent advertised lately. It looks interesting. Do you have the Rev Rack or some other rack and platform? Do you transport the tent on the rack, or inside the Jeep then set it up once at camp?

Honda mini-moto has been crushing it lately! The Dax, Trail125, Monkey, Grom, Ruckus, Navi. I've been eyeing the new version of yours... Too bad every single dealer marks these things up!

Mine is a China clone. Ice Bear Champion. 125 4-speed auto. I think it was around $1600. Fun bike.

I have the full Rev Tent setup (tent, platform, ladder) and have been very happy with it. I leave the tent on the roof while driving and don't have any issues with excess noise, though I usually carry the ladder inside. While the whole tent can fit inside, you really have to jam it in there. For me, the benefit of it being lightweight and easy to take on and off when not in use outweighs the fact that it takes about as long to set up as a traditional ground tent. My only complaint is that it is rather noisy in the wind, but that is common to most rooftop tents.
