I wore a set of 35s out without the boost kit. At times in big rocks, steering force was challenged. I went to 37s and definitely felt more times I couldn't move the tires. All issues solved with the boost kit. Recommend if you are rocks and don't need to be reminded of the old days with power...
I have MC GC 3.5 with MC black remote adj. Reservoirs. I feel the same about the ride on road. Very harsh on small cracks and bumps. Stiff on bigger bumps slow speed. Rides great and controlled otherwise when pushed with speed. Have also gone the route of a lightweight jeep..so hate to add...
That's close to the same feedback I've heard from others. I'm mostly slow off road rock crawling but I have lots of miles to cover between trails and cross country road trips. The 2.0s are OK but almost too soft when I'm loaded with tools and camping gear. I fear I'll need adjustable RRs if I...
How do you like the onroad and offroad ride with the rocksport red shocks and regular sway bars compared to the fox shocks? I'm pulling the trigger on a MC 3.5" and trying to avoid remote reservoir shocks if the rocksports are good. I have the fox shocks now.
Can you elaborate what this function is/does if you know? By the title I assume it is the high target temp that is the target temp before the fan will go on? Have you adjusted it and if so what did you observe? This feature might swing me to the superchips tuner with TD3 features.
At highway...
The trailer is a XV2 made by Schutt Industries. They make a shorter one, the XV3, also. Take a look at the website. If you have more questions, don't hesitate. I have 35" tires on mine, Schutt is a no jokes trailer manufacturer...all business. They manufactur trailers for the military. It is...
Go anywhere. I am very pleased with the towing experience on and offoad. Setting up camp is quick. And for the long road trips, the James Baroud tent quickly deploys without any additional piles, stakes, tensioners, etc....and is top-rated for wind. Unintentionally tested that also.
This looks great! I love how tight it pulls the plate in! But can you confirm it works with OEM Rubican wheels or Method 703 wheels which I'm migrating to soon. Thanks in advance.
I would be worried if the high pressure was only 40. Every 2.0 I know was a 47-52 range. The lower part of the range I witnessed when I had 4000 miles on the oil and oil life monitor had about 40%. Pressure ran about 2 psi higher the next day after an oil change and same conditions.
NextVenture aluminum bumpers for me. The welds are a work of art so I ordered bare and buffed a satin finish with a clearcoat. The rear bumper is barely heavier than stock. The front is about 60 lbs with the winch tray. You can choose to have the bumpers powder coated to your delight if that...
I ended up doing the exact same thing. Good install and love the controller. In that location, it is VERY convenient to use the push button feature to use only the trailer brakes in offroad conditions. Just rest your hand on the automatic shifter and push when needed during the occasional...
