What are your camping setups?

Tentrax Ascend trailer. Articulating Lock 'n Roll hitch along with Timbren axle less suspension will go any where you want it to go. 600 lbs dry weight and 35 cubic feet of storage for bedding, camp chairs, Light Ranger, Starlink, etc. 12v power via battery of your choice (currently a Renogy 100Ah). Road shower mounted on rear. I use Klymit inflatable Klymaloft for mattress a long with their pillows and blankets. Tent sleeping but off the ground with additional storage which is critical for us two door guys.

Ground tent. I have done that for over 20 years. We have a camper being built now similar to the one we rented below.

My wife will not sleep on the ground now that we are in our 50's I bought the Jeep with the intentions to pull an off-road capable trailer. This would allow her to sleep on a memory foam mattress, but we could still camp with everything else done outside with nature. We have camped more than 60 nights in 3.5 years and pulled the trailer hundreds of miles off-road.

That is the setup I want in a year or two. Looks great!!

Love what you did w/the Dometic water pump, I had the same thought - in fact I hoped the 'cup holder' spot was just the right size but as you know it doesn't quite fit with the sticky plate thing they provide.

What did you use there?

I used a smaller magnetic sticky disc from Amazon and it holds well.

I have a rubicon x with the sot. I also have a rat. but. I don't use it any more. I have been sleeping in the jeep on a deep sleep mattress. In an ideal world ( aka My dream world). I would like. to have something like an Ursa Minor top. that had some sort of slide away opening so I could have it on and open the Sot. I realize that it would have to have sliding panels or something I can. almost picture it buuuuuttttt, not quite. So what are your set ups and why ?

I have a 2022 JLU. My current camping set up is a Holiday Inn Express because I'm old and that to me is roughing it at this stage in life.

Over the past few years we've used lodging far more frequently than tenting, but when we do go to the ground it's in this. It's large enough for two XL cots and a narrow aisleway and can stand heavy winds.

This is my wife's setup for camping clamping with our Jeep.

That has got to take at least an hour to setup and breakdown.

What in the Asian f*ck did I just watch? Some lady pulled a semi truck worth of camping gear and furniture out of a Hyundai, set up an inflatable tent in someone's front yard, made steak, ate a 20' long fruit roll up, then gnocchi and ate it with Jack cock?
