Are the holes through the frame horns clear? I installed that plate a few weeks ago and I had to loosen the brackets on the sides to make them align properly so I could get he bolts through. Once I did that I did not have problem.

So here is my update. I removed the fairlead, it seems the two bolts that I used to attach the fairlead, may have been part of the problem, but not sure. Are they supposed to be bolt behind and nut in the front?
I was able to start two outside nuts on passenger side. Still cannot get the driver side started. My rubber mallet and I are working overtime, again.
Here are current state of affairs.

Everything has been reloosened. If that is the word.

You made me go out and check my bumper. LOL. There seems to be very little room as the bumper is very close to the frame mounts. If I were you, I'll loosen the winch plate and see if there's any play in it and try fitting the bumper with the winch plate loosened.
My apologies. I am a tactile person and stuff needs to be physically in front of me to understand fully.
If you want to come over and be tactical, I would appreciate the extra hands! ?

I can be tactical too. You have a 10lb sledge? LOL
You'll figure it out. Just remember, 20lbs of potatoes cant fit in a 10lb sack. Or can they? ?

So, another update. After many words that my mother told me not to say, it decided to cooperate! Four bolts attached!
Now comes the dreaded wiring to the battery.

Awesome. Was just reading through. Man the factory steel bumpers are not user friendly. I was swearing too..

And it is not just the factory bumpers with Warn winches. I installed a Zeon 8S on my RockHard4x4 bumper and needed to do a fair amount of grinding of the frame ends/brackets to get it to fit. Also had to deflect the front grill some as it interferes.

Wiring wasn't too bad. Really helps to have a fish tool like this...

These threaded extendable rods are great for many things such as running/routing wiring on your vehicles or home.
