I have a 2025 rubicon jlu with factory steel bumper I am planning to install winch plate and 10,000 pound warn zeon winch but have read where people are having clearance issues. Has anyone done this install and had any issues also which winch plate did you use pros and cons of your decision. Thanks for information

Zero issues. I used the Warn plate.

I used the warn plate, but installed the the evo 10, no issues. I’m assuming the footprint is similar

I used the Warn winch plate to mount a Zeon 12s on my 2019. The winch body is big so grille clearance is a couple of mm or so. I changed the grille to a 2024+ design and there is ample room, you should have no issues.

If you get the Warn XD Zeon you'll have a little extra room side to side because they are slightly narrower. I used the new XD Zeon when I put a winch on my 24 JLUR and there was plenty or room between the frame horns.

Man....that bumper is really internally polarizing.

I can't decide if it's a monstrosity, or really, really good.

I'm going with I really like it for now...

AEV? Can the side wings come off like the mopar bumper?

I just installed the warn plate and a 10s xd (warn #110010) on my ‘25 Rubicon X, fit with plenty of room. You should have no issues going the same.

I really like it. AEV does a great job of being OEM+ style. Their integration is fantastic.

Yes, the AEV front bumper is modular so you can run it full width or as a stubby.

The good, the AEV front bumper is very compact and fits snug up against the front end. I think the factory bumper actually sticks out further then the AEV one does. AEV quality is always top notch. I'm obviously biased but I think they make the best looking front bumper setup on the market.

The bad, AEV stuff is usually on the expensive side so be prepared for sticker shock when you start looking at their front bumper setups and pricing them out. They look great and are very good quality but you pay for it. Also the install, if you're doing it yourself, is kind of a PITA. It's best to phone a friend and you'll use up your lifelines installing one of these and if you've never installed one of their front bumpers give yourself one very long day or better yet make it a weekend project because it's a time consuming process. The instructions are decent but they could certainly be improved on. I like doing my own stuff so I know how it all went together as well as I know it was done right. Now that I've done one I could install another one in probably half the time.

AEV tech support was excellent as well. I called them a couple times when I wasn't exactly sure on something. They were great and very helpful. Little things that will save time if anyone ever installs one of these is chase all the threads on the welded nuts with the appropriate size tap. It cleans the threads out of any slag or powder coating and will make life MUCH easier installing one of these. Oh, and clip the tabs off the bottom of the front grill so you can remove it without needing to remove any of the front bumper.

This pic gives you an idea how snug they sit to the front end.
