My first 2-3 months with this JL clutch was challenging....including stalling. All I can say is that you'll get it.....it'll just take some time. Once muscle memory kicks in, you'll get it. Also - (at least with the V6), it likes to shift...
My advice to you.....forget you ordered it and just wait for the call....Unless you're a glutton for punishment.
It can be 3 weeks ahead of schedule the whole way through and then get held up for months in between the "finished build" stage and "shipped" stage.
The Jeep is an iconic look (admittedly, the JK was a stretch in that regard).
For some reason the Bronco has already turned stale in the aesthetics department. I pass them now or see them on the lot and they're already boring and tired looking
Read, watch, learn as much as possible. These things have been known to rearrange your face....and not in a good way. Consider them armed and dangerous if you don't know how to use them.
A bottle jack as suggested would be a much better option. 99% of the highlifts I have seen are purely...
I've driven manuals all my life and this JL was the most challenging in regards to "getting it right". It honestly took about 2mos where it was all muscle memory and it ended up being smooth.
About a week's worth of stalls here and there (especially in reverse) and then another month-6 weeks...
