Warn winch solenoid install

The instructions that came with replacement warn solenoid says to be sure and use the plastic isolators that are on the mounts. “Caution can cause a fire if grounded”.
this makes no sense because the moment i mount it with a screw it will be grounded anyway. What did you do?

I'm pretty thorough about instructions and do not recall this line nor anything specific I did to insulate the mounting. It was a few years ago. My Warn solenoid is mounted to a piece of angle iron I cut and hols in place with stock bolts on the fender. Use the tow package aux buttons to energize it. Haven't had an issue, very low winch use.

I have Warn 32962 and there are no isolators, but I think I would use them. I’m not saying your reasoning isn’t sound but why would Warn bother with them if they didn’t have some reason? Why not use them, I guess is my question?
