I'm running a Metalcloak 3.5 game changer and it rides much better than stock. I have heard many others with similar experience so you don't worry about ride quality with that one. That said, it is probably overkill for what you have in mind so you could probably just do a spacer lift or no lift...
I have their 3.5 GC lift, full belly pan, rear bumper, drag link. I am impressed with the quality of everything. I have had only great customer service experiences with them. They usually call after I place a big order and when there was a problem with the bushings on two of the control arms...
Reviving an old thread to see if anyone has recent experience with Trail Built Off-Road. I'm planning to buy Icon Alloy Recon Pro wheels and MT Baja Boss AT tires. Unfortunately, while I can buy these from my local America's tire (Discount tire), they will not mount them because they don't want...
Check that your rear shock bolts are tight. If a top bolt is loose you will hear a sound like you describe. Not that I have any personal experience with that ;)
I just went through this myself. Tried all the tricks in that thread including propping a 2x4 from the foundation of my house to the end of the pitman are so I could beat on the pickle fork really hard without worrying about breaking the steering box. In the end I removed the pitman arm, cut off...
I used one. I measured and I think that is the minimum you need to avoid bottoming out on the shock. You need something more than the long bump stop because the lower shock relocation bracket moves it up an inch or so from the stock location. I am interested to hear others experience since I...
Check out DeeZee racks. I have one and I really like it. Since it is compatible with T bolts it's super easy to attach stuff. It comes with a small rack for over the freedom panels and a main rack. I didn't want the small rack so I used all the cross bars on the back. There are a few threads on...
I fried the OEM fog lights in my steel bumper and I'm considering replacing them with generic ones. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with these:

I'm also open to other lights that are...
I was able to enable the hood alarm so it works properly on my 22 without auto start. Interesting how it seems really hit or miss whether it works or not.
You can use a lift mate
attachment to lift the wheel if your wheel has holes that fit.

I found a review on You tube that pointed out a weakness in these that could be a point of failure if you pivot on them. I decided to go with a different slider because of this.
While replacing my drag link I just could not get the bolt out of the pitman arm. Tried all the tricks suggested in a post on this topic, banging really hard with a pickle fork, heat, etc. After two days of that I resigned myself to the fact that I had to remove the pitman arm so I could pound...
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I was thinking about movement allowed by the body bolt bushings, not axle flex. Even though the movement is small it's there for a reason. The front body mount does look different than the rear 2 so maybe the connection is different. How are your sliders holding up...
