第一个发动机是如何爆炸的?我也对第二台发动机故障感到好奇。我有同样的发动机,行驶里程刚刚超过 26,000 英里。我的没有问题。

In Moab??? Where you on a steep trail incline.?

Oil backflow? More details please.

Yes, in Moab, on the Revenge Hell Trail. It's just an easy uphill climb, not steep.
Before I even finished it started to smoke. I immediately turned off the engine and asked my companion to use the winch to drag me to level ground. Then I tried to turn it on, but the engine could not be started.

In addition, I also installed the catch can in the video, but it does not work!

Do you have proof that it is on your Carfax? Not doubting you, just want to know as my 3.6l was just replaced at 25,000 miles for a crack in the engine block. Zero accidents with my vehicle, just started leaking oil and was determined it was a bad block from the factory.

Someone else installed a catch can... Fatal. Jeep denied his claim as well.

On an incline the can when filled can totally empty into the intake and next thing you know you have hydrolocked the engine and its totalled.

Catch can is not a good idea on an offroad jeep imo. You can end up dumping WAY more into the intake all at once than the OEM PCV would ever do.

Being that a catch can gets maybe a quarter of a teaspoon of oil in it in 10k miles, anyone that lets it fill up enough to drain back deserves what they get……SMH…..

What was the factory accident? I'm confused.

The first engine exploded, and Chrysler admitted it was a factory accident.
The second engine will not know the reason until Chrysler headquarters sends someone to the dealer for inspection.
I'm thinking that you mean it was a factory fuck up and not an accident.

It's pretty damn unusual to have an engine blow once. Twice? Wow.

The way Stellantis is right now, the catch can very well may bite you in the ass. They wanted you out of the shop area because they didn't want anything on the engine removed or altered before the area rep gets there. Sorry, but they have zero tolerance when it comes to anything that alters emissions equipment, whether it's a bad design or not.

Did you empty your catch can the morning before the trail ride on Hell's Revenge?

When I am in Moab I empty it every time we do a trail with a lot of ups and downs. I have had it half full from just running Behind the Rocks.

This post made this thread finally make some sense. Thank you.

OP - This sounds like it will likely be a challenging situation with the warranty. Best of luck, hope you are able to get assistance.
