I just installed mine. The old one the cord was long enough that controller could be installed under the cover of the wheel well (didn't have an IR remote). The new one the cord was so short I had to mount the controller on top of the hardtop. My Jeep came with the hardtop liner, so I could...
I thought I would follow up. Under the cover is a white plastic shelf that something is supposed to bolt to. Mine was empty so it is either for an option I don't have or for the 4xE. Tried looking up the part number but I couldn't find any reference.
I ended up cutting out the center of it (the...
Having run many brands of beadlocks for the past 20 years, I would't use the XR wheels as a beadlock. The threads are cut into the aluminum wheel, which over time will cross thread and lead to deteriorated threads because of the soft metal. My first set of beadlocks were that way. When I took...
Tera Lows sound like a tractor and could explode at any time. I usually keep it under 10mph. I am waiting for mine to go in my TJ. Haven't gotten around to installing a 241.
I'm assuming there is plenty of room under the panel for the plugs? How did you get the power wires to the battery? Did you go through the floor plug in the rear driver's side, or did you go through the grommet above the tailight?
$400 plus shipping. TIre bumpers got a bit damaged removing them. Should hold in place in the holes, but the tire needs to press against it to make sure it stays in place. Came off '24 JL with 500 miles.
The lights are still a work in progress. I just got Jeep a couple of weeks ago.
For the front I am thinking about the Nacho 3 way light. Has a DRL, fog and spot light, all on 3 different switches. I was going to wire the DRL to the SwitchPro DRL (which can be programmed to be on at start), fog...
Some more tidbits.
The switch cover does not fit. I thought it was just a tight fit, but it fell off. I replaced it with the RC one, and it snapped right on.
The blue light can not be turned off by pulling the fuse. Or either power lead. Looks like the only way to remove it is to do something...
As you can see, forward of the seatbelt tensioner used to be open, allowing the space on the wheel well to be used. Now it has that plastic piece on it. The only thing I can figure it is for is to match the subwoofer on the other side.
I'm wondering if anyone has taken it apart to see what is...
Got mine installed today. Few minor differences. I used the Epic Kraken underseat mount. Not my first choice, but it seems like the only interior mount that fits the new '24's interior. Like GatorB8 said, the included M6 bolts were too long, 30mm. I got some 16mm ones at Home Depot.
The Kraken...
Has anyone done anything with the large monstrosity that Jeep decided to put over the driver's side wheel well cover? In the previous JLs, this space was open, I used it to mount my ARB compressor with the MORE bracket. Now it seems like wasted space. Anyone take it apart yet? Thinking about...
