Hi everyone
My wrangler JL Rubicon etorque 3.6L blew up on May 28th with only 26000 miles. After four months, the replacement of the new engine was completed in October. It's under warranty.

But when I was traveling in Moab on November 15th, the problem arose again. I was going uphill that day and the oil backflow . It was nothing, but the most important thing was that the engine couldn't start, so I towed the Jeep back to California on November 19th and returned to the dealer who gave me a new engine.

I went to the dealer this morning (the dealer who gave me a new engine), and when I was about to discuss the cause of the accident with the technician, I was stopped by the service advisor and the dealer boss, who prohibited me from discussing with the technician.Because Chrysler headquarters will send someone to check my Jeep, I have no right to know the cause of the accident during this period, and I cannot communicate with the technician.

I will update here when I learn the specific reasons.

I went to the dealership this morning and I wanted to know the cause of my jeep accident but I was stopped by the service advisor and owner who refused to discuss it and he didn't tell me to wait for Chrysler to come over and do the inspection and I had no right to know about the accident until Chrysler came over The reason is that they won’t give me a checkup.
I don't understand any of this.

Probably typing out of frustration, but perhaps the OP can edit the message to reword that giant run-on paragraph into something coherent.

In the meantime, I'll grab my šŸæ

What does ā€œoil backed upā€ mean and what is the symptom that you knew there was a problem? I have the same engine, a few thousand miles behind where you are at, would like to know what to look for.

general question for the group; if you get a motor replaced under warranty, how does that show up on the carfax report? Can’t imagine it’s good for the value, I’d probably trade mine in as soon after the swap that I could.

How did the first engine blow? I'm curious about the second engine failure as well. I have the same engine with just over 26 thousand miles. No issues on mine.

Having a hard time following this myself. I want to know what caused the first engine to die and, I'm curious about the resolution of the current issue.

Sorry, my bad. It's Oil backflow.
Yes, there will be this report on carfax after a new engine.

The first engine exploded, and Chrysler admitted it was a factory accident.
The second engine will not know the reason until Chrysler headquarters sends someone to the dealer for inspection.
