Received this voicemail this morning:
The VM goes onto say it will only take 4 to 5 minutes.
Yeah right
When to program a new key takes 1 hour of labor,
This update will take them over hour from start to finish.
Are y'all getting the same message too?
@Blues Fan 30
My $0.015 worth.
Here's a couple of wheel options.
When offroading, the 37's come out.
Dirty Life Wheels Bead Locks
For the street, 35 KO2's. As the 35's were going on a photos of the 35's in the front and the 37's on the back. This combination is trail dog approved...
Been putting 93 Octane in my JLR 2-Door w/manual since day one. There is one place near me that sells 93 all gas (no ethanol). When I go offroad, always fill up before the trip with 93 all gas as it has more power than ethanol gas.
Does it really matter, who knows. It just a Jeep thing :D...
My $0.015 worth.
Yes, one can by the made in China/oversees stuff.
For my JLR figured since the Jeep is made in the USA, might as well by quality made in USA stuff.
Installed Artec bumpers and a Warn winch.
Yes, those parts cost mare than the oversees parts, but worth it.
Pro tip: When...
My $0.015 worth.
Would not have purchased either 2-Door JLR's if there was not a manual option.
Also purchase a Tacoma w/manual.
If Jeep does get rid of the manual transmission option, the does the base cost of a Jeep go up ~$2K.
Don't under stand Jeep, (Well I do, and its all about...
Had a friend do a similar thing.
Don't remember how much he put in, but DEF turned the diesel into a gel like substance.
He drained the tank.
All good after that.
My $0.015 worth, as expensive as diesel pumps and injectors are, drain the tank and the lines.
Sorry to hear of the troubles.
My $0.015 worth:
Hope they changed your oil while your Jeep was in the shop.
If you lost coolant and the motor got hot, that means the oil got really hot too.
Cheap insurance to have it changed now.

I like a catch can, have them on both 3.6 JLRs w/manuals.
On engines that don't have direct injection (NDI), like the 3.6, it helps some
On engines with direct injection (DI), (and especially a turbo DI motor), the benefits are greater
What benefits?
The catch cans...
Saw this you YT the other day...
As an EE, there is certain things I am not going to do.
Charge and EV in my garage and put solar panels on my roof.
Seen and investigated way too many times when things did not go quite as planned
I would find one of the dealerships on this forum that are offering something line 7% below MSRP.
Order the Jeep you want.
If you order a Rubicon, you maybe still able to get KO2's
Understand the whole Toyota v Jeep thing.
Have a JLR w/manual, but I don't drive it enough
When it came time to buy a mid-size truck w/manual, the options were the Gladiator or the Tacoma. Since I will often drive vehicles to over 300 kMiles, the most reliable choice was the Tacoma. Yes...
Sorry about your 392 Jeep being stolen.
To reduce the chances of a Jeep getting gone, I told our dog, Misty, that the Jeeps were her Jeeps.
As a cattle dog, she keeps a keen eye on the Jeeps to make sure there is no troubles.
I pity the fool who would mess with her Jeeps. She will defend...
Having towed with a CJ, Tacoma, F250's and F350', I can tell towing with a bigger rig is the way to go. Tried once just to launch the boat with the CJ. Very scary.
Can the Tacoma technically tow the ~ 3,500 Lbs boat 10 miles to the ski lake, yes. Would I do it? No.
Do I launch the boat...
In NC, we don't get a lot of snow. But when we do, it is complete and utter craziness. As one drives into development, the main drive through our neighborhood has a steep climb that sweeps to the right. When it snows, most vehicles cannot make it up that ill (e.g., 2wd, 4wd, AWD). With the...
