I'd also note it's very possible to press the mapped Swaykill button while moving and never initiate it at a stop. The brake pedal must be depressed far enough to trigger it.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Swaykill should be completely disabled if cruise is on, but there are situations where it gets enabled when you slow down after using cruise. It's a nasty bug that Tazer has been unable to replicate.

Yes, by design mapped buttons should be disabled with cruise control engaged.

I'm saying I've specifically confirmed mapped buttons are disabled during CC, in contrast to the way I interpreted points 2D and 2F2 (mapped buttons are perhaps never disabled).

In the ~1 year I've had Swaykill mapped, I have experienced 2 accidental initiations (both on road trips), but I've not been able to intentionally replicate a bug. That is, in those 2 instances it's possible I unknowingly hit the Swaykill button before switching on CC.

I hope you get your jeep back. Mine is getting an oil leak corrected. Dropped it off yesterday and found myself pouting about it. Should have it back by tomorrow.

It's been sitting at the shop since about a week before Christmas. I could have picked it up, but it's just about pointless since we don't trust the rear diff.

I will say I believe the intended design is that Swaykill initiation occurs only when the Jeep is at a full stop, but pressing the mapped button while in motion can - but doesn't always - start the initiation (with, I think, a sufficiently deep brake press required to complete the initiation). That is, I've witnessed inconsistent in-motion button function.

I suspect button presses might sometimes bypass parts of the conditional logic (which could cause a cruise control issue). But, Swaykill has never created a meaningful problem for me because instances of it turning on unintentionally have been rare, the sway bar hasn't actually disconnected at high/unsafe speed, and the warning lights flash.

100% this. If there is one nanny feature that really drives me nuts it is this one. The auto throw the trans into park if you open the door while moving thing is also freaking crazy. But after you do it once you will never do it again. Auto stop/start is annoying. But the 18mph limit has me considering a manual disconnect.

It solves so many problems and opens up a whole slew of options it really is a game changer I couldn't live without mine.

Honestly if you have a Rubicon I would consider it a mandatory accessory to have.

Any new ideas on how to fully turn off all the skid assist, traction control nannies in 2wd? Held the button for 5 or more seconds on the wife's 2018, with the same results as mine. With how aggressive the skid assist stuff is pushing the button on the dash is pretty pointless.

I tried Tazer's Brake Lock once. I didn't appreciate feeling like I wasn't in control, so quickly disabled it.
