I just went out in the snow and was trying to do some donuts. Did a bunch of big circles instead. With traction control "off" the vehicle skid assist, or whatever Jeep calls it, still does all the fancy stuff to keep me from having fun. Is there an easy way to fully disable the traction nannies?

Push and hold traction control to turn off electronic stability control. 2wd rear locker locked and you'll be dizzy!

Assuming I need to use JScan to change a setting? The Jeep will not let me engage the lockers in 2wd. Or I am dumb :asshat:

Tazer Mini allows you to leave it set to off as a default.

Just hope your tires don't catch some traction, or hit a parking lot bump, when you're doing those donuts, or you might wind up on your side.

At least this is easier than my old Civic. You had to do, what the community affectionately called, the pedal dance. It was 17 or so steps of pushing pedals and buttons.

Tazer will allow you to lock the rear axle in 2wd, and remove the locker speed limiter too. If you're lucky, you can find one in stock locally at 4WP, or some other shop. The snow will be melted away by tomorrow afternoon.

Ive not had the best of luck with it working, as well as swaybar disco in 2wd. Sometimes it works often it wont

I'm often occupied, by many things, often at the same time

Can't both be true at the same time?

Unfortunately, it looks like 2024 upped the nanny features. Holding the button doesn't fully turn off all the traction stuff. I will say I am quite impressed with the traction control features. I tried hard, within reason, to get it to loose control. Now I just need to be able to turn it all the way off.
