Heads up the manual quick disconnects are never quick to re-connect. 🤣

My sport has 37s and axles have held up so far. Mine came with the D44 in the rear though. D30 in the front.
Unless it’s the Autolynx.

Yes it was an option. If the limited slip was added it upgraded to the D44. Throttle controller just sends a signal to the ecm that you are pushing the throttle further than you actually are. By OEM standards it is limited how much voltage can be sent. A throttle controller will override that and send higher voltage.
How could you identify if it was upgraded to that option. Any things that quickly tell you?

That’s a subtle difference for sure. But it’s there. I saw a couple that listed the LSD as an option but not sure I trust cars.com to be accurate. Would want a picture but a sport S with this might be the ticket.
The fill hole is the most obvious giveaway. D44's fill hole is at the bottom of the raised stamped section of the OE diff cover. D35 is more centered. D35's raised section also has a different shape. But yeah, easiest way to quickly identify an M220 (D44 rear) vs a M200 (D35 rear).

Another reason to go Sport over Sahara is the wheel size, the Saharas got an 18" wheel which can make tires more expensive and harder to find.

That's true. With a D35 you can taste the generations of C clip axles that came before it and exploded in rock gardens all over the US.

Tastes of despair and nickles.

True, but both Sport and Sahara benefit greatly from swapping in a set of Rubicon take-offs, which will not only drop you down to a more acceptable 17" wheel, but also up to a more fun 33" tire. Win-win. (that's what I did)

Sport and Rubicon both run the 17x7.5" wheel so no need to get rubi take off wheels just the tires so saves a little bit of money.
