One downfall to the Steer Smarts is the gigantic size of the adjusting collar bolts. They are huge! You have to adjust the collar just right to clear everything. Even at that, mine still rubbed the passenger UCA mount on my JK.

Back on the topic of track bars.... does everyone not like EVO? I know people here hate the ponytail man. But is EVO good stuff? They offer a front and rear track bar and a rear track bar relocation bracket if needed. Also, their stuff seems to work well with synergy steering components if I need them in the future. Any thoughts???
EVO makes great stuff. I have their rear track bar relocation bracket (as part of an entire EVO lift kit). That being said, I actually have front and rear MetalCloak track bars as EVO had not yet released their own for the JL back when I bought my lift. I'm also running MC controls arms all the way around. Not because there's anything wrong with the EVO control arms, but rather because I wanted to give the MC bushing design a try. EVO has a great staff and I've had the opportunity to deal with them personally.

And as for the "ponytail man," keep in mind he is not an EVO employee. He is just an avid supporter of EVO's products and has large web/youtube presence.

And gets tons of free EVO stuff. Not to imply that EVO stuff isn't quality mind you...

Sorry, had no intention of taking this thread off course. I could care less about whether anybody likes his content or not. I simply suggested not to rule out EVO products based solely on the fact that he uses them. He also endorses Jeep products, should we all stop driving Jeeps just to spite him? And what about Warn, KMC, Nitto? He gets "tons of free stuff" because he has carved out a following and is cheap marketing in the eyes of the manufacturers. Can't fault the guy for making a living, whether you think he's a huge DB or not...

Hi guys, I need to chime in here. I already posted another topic regarding which track bar and LCA's to put on my 2020 JLUR earlier. This thread seems more dialed in to my specific questions.

I am not going to lift my Rubicon. I already installed a Fox 2.0 ATS. My Rubicon came with the Falken Wildpeak M/T tires. I am trying to decide what the absolute best money no issue track bar and LCA's are that won't interfere with my Fox 2.0 ATS and that won't require me cutting or modifying any suspension components.

Bottom line, I am trying to dial in the tightest steering with the smallest to zero amount of wandering in a non lifted Rubicon.

So far my considerations for aftermarket upgrades might sound like this:

Fox 2.0 ATS (already installed)
Teraflex Track Bar
Synergy LCA's
Fox Performance Series IFP shocks

Thanks very much guys!

Rock Krawler track bar and if you’re not lifting then I’d recommend Teraflex control arms. They actually state in their specifications that they’re for 0 to 4.5 inch of lift. Otherwise I’d recommend RK lcas as well.......:)

Synergy just released their front track bar and their sector shaft brace. I've been reading great things with that brace and eliminating steering slop.

I've searched everything possible. Track bars stress me out. So many different brands. Everyone is slightly different. I didn't think this would be a big deal. Considering the following:

- Metalcloak. Good product with great customer service. Front requires grinding the axle side opening.
- Rock Krawler. They recommend a rear relocation bracket. Mixed reviews on if necessary. Also not a lot of info on their bushing.
- Synergy. Seems like good product. More money. I don't believe their front track bar is released yet.
- Steer Smarts. No rear bar. Front is easily adjusted but expensive. Works flawlessly with their tie rod and drag link.
- Teraflex. ok. haven't read anything amazing. Their rear relocation bracket looks weak.

What else? any input? Does it matter? Just trying to recenter the axles on my Mopar lift. Down the road will replace steering components to reduce wander.
Rock krawler front and rear, it doesnt have a conventional bushing but rather a uniball. No give. Along with their lca,s it tightend me up to the point i find myself letting go of the wheel. Something i never imagined in this Jl.

The difference between 35s and 37s is not really that much. Get that track bar replaced and get your caster dialed in around 6 degrees. If you're still getting wandering you might consider changing out the tie rod and drag link. For reference I'm lifted 3.5" with 37s and I'm running the stock tie rod and drag link. I have 0 wandering. I do have the Rock Krawler track bar and Fox ATS steering stabilizer. Is your wander changing on different roads? Road condition/crown can have a major affect on handling.

Totally agree, and maybe add some toe in , if still necessary.

How much are they off? I installed my Mopar yesterday and was 1/2” off up front and less then 1/4 in back. At these measurements it wasn’t even worth my time to adjust because it drives and starts amazing. The lift combined with a dealer flash actually tightened up my steering and all but eliminated and wandering I was having. Maybe it’s a placebo affect but it drives perfect to me.
“Dealer Flash” can someone please explain more about this?

I was looking at JL Tazer to adjust tires etc would this work as well?

Basically when the dealer flashes for tires size and reset all parameters It can sometimes help with the steering because it is computer controlled. At least it felt like it helped mine, but that could also because more because of the lifts stiffer more performance oriented suspension. That’s why I hate doing too many modifications all at once, It makes it difficult to track down the problem.

No, there have been software updates for the steering box. Those can only be done at the dealership.
