Just a little utility trailer. Actually easier to load, and use than my pickup was but you do have to plan things a little more.
Have used it for lawnmowers, firewood, trips to the depot, etc.
Had to change to a lower ball mount since going with the 35's, but it is a pretty nice set up.

Do you have a pic of your Rockhard front bumper with Warn winch? This is what I am wanting to do.

5x8 utility trailer. Have hauled motorcycles, atv’s and lumber for home projects 1-1.4K. Tows well . I believe the big limiters would be (1)length and (2)frontal area. You could easily get the tail to wag the dog on out short wheelbase rigs?

I pull a utility trailer, but on this particular day it was a tow dolly and 2009 Mini Cooper going to the scrapper. Before anyone starts screaming 'unsafe' the 2 door is rated for 3300 lbs overseas (5000 in Germany!) and the scrap yard is only a few miles away. It pulled great btw.

ALiner Expedition and front/rear camera. I thought it was a great front camera on my Nissan frontier, but I crawl in way more difficult places in the Ruby. I'm pretty sure I'm going to sell my 2021 JLR and get 2022 JLR with the front camera.

Great posts! I love seeing the JL towing various things. My JLR will be a toad but will also get a chance to reciprocate. ?

I went with a custom builder out of Parker.

Tows really well, has it's own brakes, carries my extra fuel and water, and the top is extra stout for an eventual RTT.

I still think I should have gone with a teardrop, but the chance to pull this anywhere I want was a big plus.

Timbren axles with electric brakes. I haven't gotten a controller yet, but figured brakes would help on some descents.

To be honest though, it hasn't been very noticeable on or off road. The stock brakes on the Jeep seem to be doing just fine. :dunno:

Going to add the Mopar brake controller?

How are you adding a brake controller? Mine has brakes too, but I'm not pulling far/fast so it's not worth it to hook up a brake controller.

I just installed the MOPAR OEM brake controller last night. Not a bad job BUT mounting the control box up under the dash and bolting it in is a curse if your a big guy with big hands. I could only get one hand in there and did it all by feel. There’s no way to get my hand and face in line at the same time. I do have the tow package.
I haven’t used it yet. I like going with factory controllers because they properly and perfectly proportion the electrical current with the actual brake line pressure from your foot on the brake peddle. No jerky braking action from a pendulum inertia swinging activation.
