Yes I use air bags and overload bump stops to keep level at 21” going down hiway. I am 1800# empty and 2700# wet/loaded. Have no problem with my v6 8sp auto pulling in low altitude conditions or off road primitive camp sites. MPG drops from 21 to 16 pulling loaded at 65mph.Those are awesome. When I picked my trailer in AZ I got to check these out. The issue with most of their models is that you are over the tow rating of your 2 door.
The expedition 2.0 tongue weight is already over capacity and the when fully loaded youd also be over towing capacity.
Air bags could help with the tongue weight and if kept minimally loaded I guess you could right at/under 2,000lbs and I am sure the JL can tow it no issues.
The off-grid trailers have some suspension systems man. Ive never seen that on a trailer before, pretty insane.
