Get the Bestop Etop! It’s expensive but I love it!! It’s an electric top. Just push a button and it’s up or down in a couple of seconds. No windows to remove or anything. You can do it at a red light if it starts to rain on you. I have! I think it’s worth every penny I spent on it! I ended up trading in that jeep and got extra money for that too on the trade in. How many mods can you say do that? My new jeep has the One Touch top, but I don’t like it much because o was used to the Etop. It was way better and the cloth part was way better quality on the Etop.
like I said, it’s EXPENSIVE! But you’ll love it!!
Well that's quite nice. Wonder why Jeep can't offer this as an option. I'd immediately pick this over the Sky One Touch.

Stand inside the Jeep on the back floorboard and pull the top up from there. I find it much easier then trying to do it from the ground...

Hello all-
Asking for tips on how to easily push my soft top back up. I’m short and in order to close the soft top I stand on the back bumper and have to push it up that way. Not a fan of standing on the plastic bumper - afraid it might cave. So if this is my only option what kind of back bumper replacement do you all suggest to get that is metal and I don’t feel like I’m damaging the bumper. Thanks! 😊
I give it a good push to lock in the first position, then stand on the front seats or center console to pull it completely closed

Rock sliders with enough reveal to act as steps (mine as reference). Look great, inexpensive, SUPER functional!! You will not regret them for 1 second.

I actually regretted mine in the Michigan winters. They became slippery once covered with road grime, snow and or ice. Using them to step into or out of the Jeep wasn’t good. I went with a flat step on my 2 door that provides more surface are and work better for me.

Me too. Idk why. Maybe because of the cost. But at least offer it as an option.
The dealer told me once that people prefer hard tops by far. That they sell way more hard tops. But I was like, that may be because that’s all you have on the lots! The jeep I put that Etop on was originally a hard top. I sold the hard top and got that Etop. I didn’t like the hard top because if you took it off, which I often did, you had to leave it at home. But if you went off somewhere and it started raining you were screwed. You either had to deceive home in the rain or wait until it stopped. And since I live near the coast it happened a good bit. With that Etop I could push a button and it was up or down in a few seconds. Awesome. Worth the price. I would rather have it than the one touch on my current Jeep, but I can’t justify the cost going between these two tops like going from a full hard top.

I just lift up on the frame to flip it over. Usually from driver's side because I'm right handed

What brand are those rock sliders, I’m having a hard time finding much variety for the 2-door. Thanks

Maybe...If you're dropping off high ledges,
its not the lowest part of the jeep (ie closest to the ground.)

Your use might not be the same as mine,
(nor the op's) I'm just offering options to the original poster and his problem.

For $100. ask this guy if it is a good spend...

Get Rockslide Engineering step slides. They are electric steps that are designed to serve as rock sliders. Then you can also add their skid shields and they’re super tough. They can support the jeep as they slide right over rocks, then the step still comes down automatically when you open any of the doors. They even have a button kit available to be used when you take the doors off.

It used to be called the MyTop. There was a guy in here that literally posted so much about it, it was irritating.....lol...
